Can't really go wrong with Custom House! It gets busy at times, so be prepared to wait to be seated. That's the only reason the service category is getting a 4 from me.

Custom house was dirty. Flys on windows and on table constantly, floors were in need of re finishing . Walls were filthy, bucket with dirty water and cloth sitting on floor next to our table. Cadillac margarita was bland. 18 dollars. Very uncomfortable restaurant due to lack of attention and caring. Never going back, everyone i have asked said same thing. Shame on management

Vibes and environment are great. Food is mid- menu caters to the oldheads/families who come out to Avila on the weekends. Definitely not doing the most with what they’ve got but not my circus. Best thing during lunch is the coconut shrimp (6.5/10)

Here for a wedding anniversary, thought this would be somewhere nice. I strongly do not recommend this restaurant. Drinks were watered down, waiter after 20 mins came to us telling us they'd just straight up forgotten to write down our order and that it would just now be processed, and then when we were being swarmed by bees, we asked to be moved inside, which we basically had to just do ourselves, and then asked for a check, they said we'd have to wait for the waiter to get back to give the check which took about another 15 mins. Food was okay, honestly didn't taste like anything.

Well if your in a pinch.. eat somewhere else. Our waitress was pretty bad, never took dirty dishes and we came to buy , but service suc_ed. We could even order when we wanted to, oh our clam crowder must be canned in china with the stale crackers. 3 stars, because the drinks were well made.
This place had horrible service, requested coffee 3 to 4 different times from 3 different staff members. The coffee was finally brought out but never again refilled. After eating had to go buy a coffee from Karen's down the street. Please speak with your waiters and crew about working together. CHICKEN FRIED STEAK was the BEST that is why food got 4 stars

We had made reservations for 7 people at 7pm for Saturday night several weeks ago — confirmed and all set. So was very very disappointing when we arrived that we still had to wait for seating “because we got a lot of large groups come in” ..... we had to wait... the purpose of the reservations was so they were aware and prepared for our party to arrive by 7pm for dinner. The hostess told us to come back in 20-30 minutes. Yes it was nice to walk around the boardwalk area ... but we made reservations!! Returning to the restaurant we had to wait an additional 10 minutes to wash a booth down then squish 7 adults into one booth... very disappointed
