Mersea's Seafood Restaurant

the food has always been a disappointment even after the new menu. Also Crab taste really fishy and dry. Won’t be going back anymore. WAY Overpriced for being so bland.

I had their most popular dish, fish and chips. The food was average at best. One piece of fish was overcooked. However, the location was great, table next to the water.

Sitting out on the pier having lunch at Merseas was a treat! Great fish and chips, quick service and watching the sea lions is very entertaining. I only wish they wouldn't use plastic cups for their tarter sauce as the wind caught ours and blew it right into the ocean!!! We felt awful about it!!! That's the only thing I'd ask that they change.

The fish and chips were great. Perfectly cooked and tasty. The staff was friendly and helpful in recommending dishes. The view was beautiful. The restaurant was clean inside and outside. Seals and birds are free entertainment.

We had a great lunch at Mersea's! The food was so delicious! We had shrimp tacos. The shrimp were plentyful and so plump! Fresh!Yum!
The staff was friendly and professional.
The outdoor dining has an amazing ocean view!
Everything was perfect!

Where in the world are the trash or recycle cans??? No where in the parking lot, front of store, or entrance!

Great seafood,service,and atmosphere.

This was a real favorite of ours as we went there twice for dinner. Even though it was slightly cold when we went, they were heating lamps outside, and it was really beautiful to dine outside and to be right on the water. We also had entertainment from some sea lions, which was fun. The service was great and everyone was really friendly and the food was delicious. There were many great seafood, fresh and fried options. We highly recommend this place and really enjoyed going and we can’t wait to go again.

First time. Chowder is legit. Fish Sandwich was incredible. Nice food with beautiful surroundings make for a great experience.
