We visited Avala Beach and decided to try out Mission Pizza because it was a short walk from our hotel, and who doesn't love pizza, right? Look at the photo for what greeted us when we unpacked our order. In case you can't tell, it is cheese pizza. Burnt. Dried out. Inedible. Cheese Pizza. I would fire the employee who decided to serve this to their customer on the spot. Don't make the same mistake we made. We won't be back.

Amazingly surprised at how good this joint is. Pretty much a grab n go, so we were not expecting much, but we were hungry.We split a "kitchen sink" pizza, and WOW, it was delicious! The meats were fresh and nicely seasoned, and red sauce tasted freshly made. The crust was light and made with cornmeal which was very tasty.Looking forward to other menu options next trip!

Mission Pizza has GREAT clam chowder and we always get extra chowder to enjoy when we're back home...they also have good pizza, too.

Delicious pizza! You order at one window, wait for your order to come from another window. There is no dine-in seating. The pizzas are delicious! We had the Butchers Block and Loaded Potato and really enjoyed them both!

I've gotten pizza from here twice and wings and fries once and 10/10 on all of the above. Definitely takes a while to get your food but you can wait outside in the sun since the beach is right there! They don't really have tables, you order at the counter, so it's pretty much take out only.

Honestly this is the worst pizza I’ve ever had. The best thing I could say about this place is that they were friendly and my pizza was ready at time promised (45 min). It’s really pathetic because it’s not that hard to make a decent pizza. Owners should really do some soul searching and figure out if they want to provide a quality product for the amazing Avila beach community. This business now is a big fail.

Ordered the Sicilian Supreme and it was outstanding! The thin crust was perfect and the toppings were a wonderful mix of flavors. Garden salad was great too!
