Great oysters, extremely fresh, as would be expected. The staff were very green but friendly and with a good service minded attitude. This is not a lunch or dinner spot— just oysters or snacks and wine.
I've traveled a lot to the Seattle area and wasn't sure what to expect for oysters, but they were exceptional, they get them fresh on Friday and they are perfectly briny, the wines are good, also had the bread and butter. Quiet spot, shucking your own oysters I thought was fun, but you can get them shucked as well.
Our favorite spot in Avila! The food menu is simple but it’s literally perfection and such a fun experience shucking your own oysters. We stopped by with our pup and grabbed seats in the cute backyard area where there’s plenty of spots in the shade or at the counter if you want to people. We had a bottle of petnat (loved it!) and a dozen oysters and both were exactly what we were looking for on a hot sunny day. Everything here is local, the petnat is from SLO and the oysters...
