Absolute hidden gem! Whenever we’re over near this part of CA, we make the drive up the mountain to this restaurant because it is absolutely worth. The owners are down to earth and create a warm environment to enjoy your drinks and meal. AND, I’ll argue this with anyone, the double cheeseburger is no joke THE BEST burger I have EVER had. It’s unrivaled (at least as of yet). They take pride in sourcing the best ingredients and it shows in the food. The Baker Mountain House is a must when you’re driving by.

You did the most amazing things for my wife's birthday last night! I wasn't able to be there for family reasons, so I called to ask if you could deliver a surprise dessert to her. Unfortunately, you were all out - your dessert must be fantastic! Instead, you got the whole place to crowd around her table and sing happy birthday to her. She and the kids were completely surprised, and she ended up in tears. Thank you so much for giving her an unforgettable birthday!

We came here for our mom’s birthday, and the staff were soooo nice!!! We were on vacation and were hiking and this was the perfect place to spend the evening after walking around for hours. Dinner hours had technically stopped but they still made us dinner and were so polite and the food was delicious!! I’m so glad I came to the Baker Mountain House! Would definitely recommend!
