Stopped at this Carl's Jr. In Baker for breakfast on my way to LA and tried the loaded breakfast burrito with hash browns. It was bigger and tastier than I expected—better than most other Carl’s Jr. locations I've visited.
The restaurant was very clean, including the bathroom, and not too busy. The manager was kind and took a moment to chat, which made the visit even better

Just left this location nauseated. Please DO NOT make this location your stop for food on your road trip. I was so grossed out I couldn't eat my food. The restrooms are so foul, the smell was unbearable and this is me fully understanding that public restrooms in general stink but gosh the smell in this one was straight out rotten. A few things were also wrong in our order, fountain machines were down, and there was a dead freaken roach under our table. I hadn't seen it until later ?. First and last time making a pit stop at this Carl's.
It says, you guys open at 7 AM.Some ladies sat there.And watched me at the door by 715.She still never came out and said if you guys were closed or not completely bad service.Maybe it's the color of my skin

Stopped in here on May 4th when on the way to Death Valley California. The lady at the till was very personable and even applied a discount to our bill as we were visiting from far away. The order was processed quickly and the food was tasty although the seasoning on the waffle frys was not to my taste (just personal preference). She greeted all customers warmly. I disagree with other reviewers that this place should be shut down. I would imagine in a small community like Baker they need businesses to provide employment. The location right by the highway is very convenient. Further, according to my husband the restroom in here was clean and very well kept compared to some we encountered in vegas and elsewhere.

Unreal! My absolute favorite sandwich is the char broiled chicken club sandwich. Was headed home from Vegas, swung into grab a sandwich and use the restroom. The restaurant was not clean. The restrooms were horrible, smelled horrible. Grabbed my sandwich and iced tea to go, by the time I got to the car, I could smell the sour chicken. I think the Health Dept needs to visit this place. Don’t do it!Update: 5/7/2024: thanks, Carl Jr. for replying, you never did reply when I sent all of this information via customer service, email, because you don’t have a person we can speak to. Ridiculous! This particular location, should be shut down.
