Been there 3 times now for breakfast and lunch. Food always very good. Service excellent, friendly. If you're looking for a place a little off the beaten path give it a try. p.s. Plenty of hitching posts for your horses.

I'm sorry to say we won't be ordering from here again. While the flavour of the food was mostly fine(mediocre) and it was ready relatively fast, the amount of food we got for how much we paid, was extremely disappointing. Also the side selection of incredibly small, largely being some form of potatoes, rice, a sad, overpriced basic salad, or a soup. As a diabetic, I can't eat potatoes, or rice(anything carb heavy). So I went for the soup only to learn the soup of the day was something I couldn't eat either(due to another food sensitivity). The salad I got was about two leaves worth of romaine, one half slice of tomato, about five bits of onion and carrot shreds, one half(uncut) celery stick, topped with croutons(which I also can't eat). My meal was the tri-tip with mashed potatoes and vegetables. I got three medium-well done(I requested medium-rare) slices of beef, a scoop of mashed potatoes, and a few random bits of vegetables(about half a dozen half slices of zucchini and three ir four brocoli florets.) We spent over $100 for the bare minimum and horribly underwhelming meal we've had in a long while. Again, the flavour wasn't bad, but nothing amazing abd the service was fast, but the portions aren't worth the price and a theme throughout everything we ordered. Better off getting food from a grocery store deli.

I can't fault them for not catering to my dietary needs but a wider range of side options would have been nice.

It was an older building off the beaten path.

Honestly, I'm pretty disappointed in this spot, man. I've come here for a few years now, and it's always been in high regard for me. I got the triple decker turkey sandwich. It came with 3 slices of sandwich meat and 2 pieces of bacon. I've included a picture from their own Google photos of what it's looked like before and what I received. For $20, I could've easily gone to Blackbear or any other major chain diner for that same amount price. I am trying to eat local and show love to a place with lots of history. But they are making it very hard to return. My server was very nice and the atmosphere was lively. But the food is what makes me hesitant to come back unfortunately.

An old watering hole well worth a visit.
