Attended a retirement luncheon. Place was very busy, most people ordered lunch. I had the pancakes. Not impressed but looking forward to trying out lunch items next time. Loved the atmosphere and friendly employees.

Amazing place!! Jenny the owner is awesome, we enjoyed talking to her. My Dad is an old time Banta resident (relocated) and we enjoy visiting. He shared stories with Jenny about the old times and owners. We drive from out of town to visit here. Anna is always wonderful when we visit with our dogs, sitting on the patio. (if you have dogs, and want to eat here, call ahead so they can unlock the gate). Shannon and Ashley also, always excellent service and we love the food. Love the atmosphere. Amazing bar. Salmon is a favorite, but we have also enjoyed their desserts, Portuguese link sandwich and beans. BLT. Iced tea is great. We highly recommend the Banta Inn.

You could tell she takes pride in her job And really cares about the people she serves. my wife ordered the salmon And I ordered the Salisbury steak, both were very delicious Our hats off to the chef. We will definitely be going back.

Worst Patty Melt I've ever had. I ordered it without onions as I always do whenever I order one but this one had ZERO flavor. Everyone else's food looked super basic as well. The restaurant is very dated and a bit depressing.
