“I interestingly found out about this place from a benigne🥐 posting. I had not heard about it and was confused by the name BABY DUDES, so I did some investigations and found an old ad for $10 burger. I asked around and someone told me they were a food place and the burgers were good. We happened to be in Morro Bay recently and I had the menu as my screensaver so I would specifically remember to try. I looked up on Google which said they were closed on Mondays. There was also no phone number to call. I saw that they were working on opening Mondays soon on an old post on Insta. I DM'd and asked if they were open. They responded immediately "yes". I Google Map 🌏and it says on right side, but unfortunately there is no signage on the marquee facing main street. I drove 🚘by again and just parked and finally found it. We went inside and were waiting to order behind another group. They finished ordering. We moved up and the employee informed us to excuse them and that they would be back. They came back about 4 minutes later, as we were about 1 minute away from leaving.🏃 They took our order , we got 2 smash burgers🍔🍔🍱🍱 and a bag of chips. At this time another couple was behind us. The employee finished our order than left again out the back. I went out and saw that the kitchen🍳 is in an entirely different building🏢 and there was a patio attached to all. On this side there was also a proper sign for the business on the wall. Very nice atmosphere. If I am figuring right, they are hand 🚶🚶‍♀️running tickets next door after every order. ( There has to be a better way) I stood at the kitchen and the chef 👩‍🍳brought out our order. They asked if napkins or anything else was needed. We stopped at the 🏖water and 🥤ate. The burger was absolutely delicious and the chips were 🧂🧂🧂salty and yummy🤗🤗. The total was around $30 💵and worth it. The atmosphere is Lounging🎋, fun with pinball🔮 a book 📗nook and a 📀DJ on certain weeks! The place has an alcohol license and I think would kill it if they did wine🥂 tastings or an alcohol🍺 event. I was not a fan of the employee leaving each time to run tickets , but overall the atmosphere and food was great. I would suggest someone update Google with the proper hours a phone number and a major street facing marquee sign and the place would be perfect! I have already recommended the place to 5 people in 2 days!🤙“

“Now open for dinner on Friday and Saturday! We’ve eaten both breakfast and lunch here many times and it never disappoints. They now have 2 patios—the new one in front is a positive addition, and the original one is still lovely with all the garden plants. Good variety on the menu, kids menu, wine and wine cocktails as well.“

“We’ve been going to Hofbrau for over 20 years. Just had one of the best meals ever there today. Sat outside on the new glass enclosed deck over the water. Amazing view. Beautiful day. Had the best, tender and flavorful roast beef sandwich- a jailhouse (roast beef, pastrami & provolone - a Reuben and calamari strips. It was all perfect!“

“My wife and I had lunch there as part of our 40th anniversary trip. She had the fried shrimp and I had the snapper plate, both were delicious. We love Morro Bay and always stop here to have a bite to eat and some drinks.“

“This place is so amazing!! Great to bring kids to as well. My favorite thing is to do the hike nearby and then end at the chicken shack for lunch. Like hike is amazing and ending at Avila farms for a delicious meal ends the day on a great note. Plus you can stop by and feed all the cute little animals and check out the farm right next door!!

“As of May 2024, 2 Whoppers with cheese and a large order of Fries was about $20. Fast food has lost its value since the pandemic & Bidenomics wreaked havoc. This Burger King was recently remodeled and they have since removed the homeless who once plagued this place. Whoppers are still tasty and their fries are still crispy outside and soft/puffy inside. Unfortunately, the cost has just been driven up absurdly here in California. However, you can still occasionally find some good deals with the app, which are only available only via the app and by ordering through the app with a debit/credit card.“

“Laguna grill is SLOs best kept secret ?‍? Tried this spot about 3 maybe four years ago? I’ve been hooked ever since. I love a good cheeseburger, and have tried most in the county. Laguna Grill still takes first place every time. The meat is clean, and is seasoned to perfection. The presentation alone is enough to make you come back. Ingredients are fresh and flavorful. Hits the spot every time! Forget Firestone grill, they got nothing on Laguna. Keep up the great food and good service!! ?“
