Absolutely love love love this place! Such good food! Pricey, but worth it. I love the big sur roll! Ramen is excellent!

We love the food here, especially the spicy meso ramen! We also love the outdoor seating. It is lovely on a warm day to bring your pooch along.

Food is tasty but last time we visited, the food took much longer than usual (despite the restaurant being empty) and we found a hair in the sushi. We brought it up to the server, and they apologized but unfortunately didn’t do anything more. Wish the service was as good as the food!

Fantastic build-your-own ramen bowl, and terrific sushi rolls. Fresh and high-quality ingredients make everything taste superb. They will help you make a gluten-free order (if needed). Indoor and outdoor seating available, as well as takeout.

Always top notch!! We sat at the sushi bar and ordered on the fly. Edamame, Dragon Roll, Wagyu Nigiri, Veggie Tempura Roll all customized with Wagyu on top…the goods just kept coming in! Topped it off with a matcha crème brûlée!Kid-friendliness: Our 8yr old orders for himself and the guys listen attentively to his custom roll order.

Love the pork fried rice. The sushi is quality. Only complaint is that the service is notoriously slow.Update: I went back today and got the sashimi combo, which was eight pieces of fish total. All of the pieces were sliced incorrectly and weird served on a tiny plate, with no side of rice. Separately, miso soup was brought, which wasn’t too bad, then the green salad had an entire red onion, too much cucumber, and a little bit of lettuce with about a gallon of dressing, not sure what is going on but it was not good, especially for $32 plus tax and tip.

I've tried to like this place so bad! I love sushi, but every time I go here, it's a bizarre or bad experience, and I've gotten sick half of these visits as well! Like violently ill. So inconsistent on all fronts. Seems poorly managed, unfortunately.

Our daughter turned us on to Kuma when she was at Cal Poly. We stop by here whenever we drive through the area, it’s a hidden gem worth seeking out. ?

My first time in the area with a friend who is a local. He highly recommend and we ended up coming here twice this week! Both times had an amazing experience with all different staff members. The food is an 11/10 and they were fantastic at accommodating for allergies. Itchy Dragon roll is fire. Will be back and would 1,000% recommend. Left happy and with full bellies!

Was a little chilly inside but the Ramen warmed me right up. Of you're stuck on what you to get try Ramen with Tonkatasu (pork broth) base, Pork slices, Shoyu Egg, and Curry Butter additon, you won't regret it.

The food is decent, but the quantity is much lesser than expected for the price. Didn’t feel too clean as well, but outside was cute with fire at night.

Good vegan ramen and the tempura veggies are vegan if you get it without the sauce.
