Central Coast Classic - one of the best salsas in existence - if you aren't ordering extra to go you're doing it wrong ;)

The food is bland and tasteless. Absolutely no seasoning to speak of! The rice was dry; the beans bland; the taco and enchilada didn't have any seasoning. The meat wasn't seasoned.

So much on the menu that is great, all at a reasonable price. The only downside is the long waits to get service or to have food delivered.

My mom & I went for lunch' yesterday. I kept referencing an item I'd seen a photo of on Yelp,, but our. Server couldn't recollect what itt could be, it may have been helpful if I were referring to the correct restaurant. In the correct city. And county!! Anyway.... our lovely waitress suggested the Tropicales Tosdads as a second choice, and it did not disappoint! A big fried flour.tortilla filled with shrimp, fruit, beans, and yummy deliciousnesn!!! We both ordered it, and we both can't wait to go back & order it again!!! I would compare the sauce to a mole, with a complex richness of chocolate... I'm so glad I didn't finish it so I just had the rest for lunch! And the the chip & salsa too!!! YUMMY!!!

Best Mexican food around! Their prices are very reasonable and I highly recommend La Casita!

Surprisingly good food! Very fresh high quality ingredients. I had chili Colorado and the meat was so savory and tender, coming with rice, beans, and good sized salad. Everything was homemade salsa. The meals can be mini size, perfect for women. It looked empty from the outside but was not, and I'm really glad we went in. Yum to the Mexican chai also.

The food here is delicious. Very traditional Mexican food. Great salsa and chips. I ordered the mini size meal of chile verde, it was so good! Good size portion of lean cubed pork in medium spicy verde sauce. Albondigas soup or salad, rice, beans n tortillas. We will definitely be back when we are in the area.

Nothing fancy, but consistently good food with a nice variety of traditional Mexican fare. Service is prompt both eating there and with take out. Staff are polite and accommodating.

Good food, prompt service and reasonable prices! My friends and I loved this place. The tacos and rellanos were our favorite. We will be back!

Very small restaurant. Service was ok . Food was really good.. my wife got chili relleno enchiladas, with napoles, loved her meal . I got a Al pastor taco , and chili verde plate. Beans and rice were delicious! Only had 1 beer on tap! Salsa made in house . Service at the start was slow, but food came out quickly once ordered. Tasted very fresh! Will definitely go back!

Great prices, delicious Mexican food, and fantastic service! What's not to love?! We go at least 3 times a month and can't wait to go again between trips!

We called in for takeout, and the food was hot and ready when I arrived to get it. They cleverly packaged my crispy taco separately from my enchilada and tamale in the 3-item combo I shared with my wife. The food was well prepared, nicely spiced, and smartly packaged for take out.

Terrible service, worse food. The man who helped us was short with us and everyone else in the restaurant. I ordered their "spicy" fajitas, my mother in law the enchiladas and my husband a burrito. I got albondigas with my food that tasted like canned beef stew, the meatballs were mush. Canned enchilada sauce on the burrito, my Mexican mother in law said her enchiladas couldn't even be called that because it was an open tortilla with sauce on it. My "spicy fajitas" were extremely bland and tasted like plain old grilled chicken not the seven pepper spice level they promised. They lacked even salt and pepper, and I wasn't given tortillas to eat them with. When I asked I was handed two that were obviously nuked. When I asked for hot sauce, I was given some 911 sauce that a baby could drink. First and last time coming here, easily the worst place I've eaten on the central coast.

I can't believe it took me all these years to finally try this place. I have been multiple times so far. The atmosphere reminded me of eating at a restaurant in Mexico. It's very comfortable and casual. The service is quick, they are working hard cause this place is super busy. Most notable was the amount of foot traffic coming for take out orders, it was non stop! I've eaten in several times now. The salsa is so so good! Light crispy chips. (Comes complimentary for the table) Mmm. I tried the garlic shrimp tacos my first time here and it was decent. The next time I tried the chicken fajitas and I fell in love and I get that every time! The chicken fajitas come with a basic ice berg salad to start, then the entree itself is chicken with onions and peppers, beans and rice. And 2 tortillas (corn or flour). Best of all, their prices are extremely reasonable for the amount of food you get! This is now a staple restaurant for me.

There are several different Mexican restaurants in our little town but La Casitas is consistent, fast, yummy and the chips are made on site. 4/5 stars is due to lousy guacamole. They're quick which makes the staff not too friendly. But take out is great and, oh yeah, inexpensive-$30 for two
