We were looking for Thai takeout while visiting in Los Osos, and Lotus Thai filled that need! Delicious food. We had the red curry, Hawaiian fried rice, cheese wonton, chicken satay, and spicy basil with beef. Excellent all the way around and very affordable. The service was quick and friendly.
Too many entitled customers in the reviews and even storefront :/ The crew at Lotus are always sweating, working hard to fulfill the often OVERWHELMING amount of orders. Be 5 stars grateful they even take your call!

Take out only. Food is ready within 30 minutes of ordering. We got our last order in under 10 minutes. Friendly and good customer service. They promptly resolved a problem that wasn't of their making.

Very sweet owners. My husband and I were visiting from out of town and didn't realize everything was closing by 8pm for the most part. We came at 8:03pm and asked if we could still order. They told us it depended what we ordered and gave us a menu. We ordered pad thai and a red curry. Red curry was flavorful, sweet and savory. The pad thai was the perfect texture for noodles but was a bit lighter in flavor. Both were actual a very great combination.

I like Lotus because they are quite consistent. 15 min means 15 mins. Fried rice is fried and dumplings are dumped timely. A ok in my book. Go give em a try!

We are traveling here for a little get away and we're hungry for Thai food- This is the best Thai I have had in California! Their flavors were phenomenal! We ordered the pad see mow And the red curry The flavors were deep and balanced- so good! We ate our food at a picnic table at a park near by! As it is a take out only type of place- no tables to eat it. Highly recommend!

Only ever had the Pad Thai and had to add sriracha and soy sauce to give it any flavor. Wasn't oily though, so a positive... Super fast service too, but probably won't try anymore.
The little lady who runs the place works hard, and is very sweet. Portions are huge. I am very picky about pad thai flavors, and hers were not to my liking. Not enough peanut or sesame flavor.

This is a take out place which was fine for us since I called in an order for take out. It was very quick 15 minutes and the order was ready. I ordered Pad Se Ew, Hawaiian Fried Rice and Chicken Tom Kah. The fried rice came with 2 large shrimps and lots of pineapple and cashews. Pad se ew is as expected from a Thai restaurant. The chicken tom kah was sour as expected but much sweeter than what I'm use to with Tom kah. It was still good but I was just expecting it to be more sour. All 3 dishes came out to about $50 and was enough to feed a family of 4. Overall, it was good and I would come back!
