I don’t like giving bad reviews but this place was not the best. Service was not good and food was underwhelming. If you want to get food in los osos I recommend high street or beerwood which are much better.

Me and my lady first time going here looks really good. However her meal was perfect but wouldn’t sub the side veggies for something else, and the sever told us that the chief was really busy with all the other parties, which was kinda ridiculous for the price we are paying. I got the lobster it was the most over cooked lobster I’ve had tuff no flavor other than the butter, potatoes and carrots were okay. But would I recommend this restaurant to someone NO! For the price you’re better off at Cheesecake Factory.

I hope you had the amazing experience of celebrating Mother's Day at Mirazur. The weather was perfect, the food delicious and the service everything you would want it to be! The ambiance and the complementary Mother's Day bouquets, priceless! So thoughtful. I had the honor of making 85 bouquets for all the mother's, grandmother's and a few great grandmother's a beautiful complimentary bouquet. It was a beautiful day in Los Osos. Thank you to the owners, Alejandro, Chef Ish and Marco.💖

We enjoyed our first absolutely perfect sunset dinner on the outside patio last night. Our servers Laura and Nathan were wonderful, attentive, and gave excellent recommendations. To start, Mirazur has a stellar wine selection! Our favorite dishes enjoyed were the oysters on the half shell, the chef's current seafood special, and the Pistachio Creme Brulee. The post-dessert cappuccino was also fantastic. Excellent food, beautiful atmosphere, and great service. Thank you for such a fantastic experience!

I really wanted to love this place since it’s so close by and in such a beautiful locale. Unfortunately, our experience was far from perfect… or even average, to be honest. We were excited when they sat us at a nice table by the warm fireplace, so it started off well. However, the waiter took a while to get to us and was obviously very overwhelmed. Granted, it was Valentine’s Day and we tried to give him some grace… but both my partner and I have worked in the service industry and were unimpressed with the subpar level of service. It took much longer to get our food than the table next to us (with a different server), even though they sat down about half an hour later than us. The waiter would also practically throw our food and drinks at us and then run away. Towards the end, he got my drink order for my second cocktail of the evening (which I had to wait an overly long time to order) and then my boyfriend had to almost yell to get his attention to put in a drink for himself before he ran away again. The food was ok, but I honestly expected better at that price point. The bad service didn’t do it any favors.

I might try to go back on a less busy night, but I don’t think I would want him as a server. Shame.

This is beautiful restaurant with excellent food and service. We enjoyed the Roasted Artichoke which was probably the best artichoke we’ve ever had. One of us had the grilled lobster tail, a very generous portion of excellently prepared lobster. It was served with fresh vegetable cooked perfectly al dente. The other of us had the Wild Mushroom Pappardelle which was another amazing dish. We are sure to return to this restaurant on our next trip to the area.

We've been here a few times now and have had similar experiences each time, no matter brunch, lunch, or dinner. Mediocre to bad service and mediocre food other than lunch.

First time we came on a weeknight for a date night dinner. There were only a handful of tables occupied, unfortunately one of which was occupied by the waiter's boyfriend. Not only did our waiter not recall the special correctly, as we overheard her saying the correct one a few minutes later, but she would frequently go over and visit with her friend while we were waiting on beverage refills. We ordered duck and the lamb with pork gyoza as suggested by her as an appetizer. The Gyoza was quite good, decent portion. Duck was okay, a bit dry somehow, but decent flavor and texture. The lamb was hilariously over seasoned and sauced completely ruined the meat. Both of our entrees came out luke warm as well. It is sad when the side veg of asparagus seems to be the highlight of the meal. Well, we had heard mixed reviews on dinner so decided to try lunch and brunch.
Equally if not more disappointing. Our waiter was friendly and quick, but immediately took a sour turn when we requested a modification to my lunch. After that, basically no service, no follow up, and apparently had no interest in collecting money as we had to track him down to settle our bill. Thankfully the busser kept an eye on us and our beverages. That waiter shouldn't be working the tables if he takes offense to a change to our order to the point that he ghosts us the rest of our meal. Chilaquiles were delicious, but no more so than our local mexican restaurants, yet more expensive with about 1/4-1/3 the portion size, what a joke.
Lunch was a similar experience, same waiter who seems friendly at first but immediately turns cold on you with any sort of follow up request. If we come again, we'll have to request someone else. Thankfully the lunch food is quite good as we had heard. Calamari and chips are great, nice light breading, not greasy, good crunch and tender calamari. Burger was cooked perfectly with a bit of pink in the middle. Lunch is the way to go, but it is a shame that this was supposed to be our nice restaurant in Baywood and they can't execute good service or food the rest of the day. That on top of the news of them being shut down for an infestation doesn't surprise me since this place seems poorly managed. We'll probably give it another shot to support local, but its hard to consider after all of the negatives we've experienced.

Dinner @ Mirazur was spectacular. It was a busy night and the staff, led by Alejandro, did an extraordinary job at accommodating us. For the night of Valentines, all tables had a rose-in-vase centerpiece and the vibes inside were nearly perfect.

We sat inside, but the outside areas held heaters, fireplaces, and more than enough room to be seated comfortably.

During dinner, we went with their two specials; shrimp and mushroom soup + the ribeye dinner. We asked them to bring out the soup with a side of bread service as a starter and the two complemented each other so well. The flavor profiles were rich, flavorful, and above all...FRESH. I could say the same thing about the CRUDO, which we also got as an opener. Yellowtail with a hint of aji amarillo; bright and vibrant flavors, and again.... FRESH.

The ribeye was off the charts and paired extremely well with a couple glasses of their red; Daou's Cabernet and Center of Effort's Pinot were both top of the line, and not to mention, sourced from premium local vineyards in SLO County.

Their cocktail selection was amazing too, and they allowed us to add meat to the wild mushroom risotto, which was also delicious. To top the night off, we finished with a pistachio creme brulee that was again... 10/10.

We cannot wait to come back for their brunch service as well as their happy hour!

Thank you to Alejandro and the Mirazur team for a special night!

We really enjoyed their happy hour! We have also been there for dinner and lunch and have had great options for food and drinks. They have a great wine list and beers on top.
