Very professional wait staff with a personal and friendly touch and the chef came out at the end of the night to make sure everything was good. Overall a really special place to eat while up in bear valley, even if you aren't staying there!

We had a wonderful server. He was friendly and in bright spirits, eager to make the meal special for us.

The food here has no right to be as good as it is. The staff clearly are enthusiastic about the offerings and friendly. I had the braised ribs and they were great.

We had an excellent dinner. Enjoyed the salmon cioppino, braised short ribs, and New York. Salads were delicious too. So nice to have this option in Bear Valley

Delicious food from a lovely little place in Bear Valley! We had the Frito Misto appetizer;all the seafood tasted fresh and tender. The house salad is a fun baby romaine with a delicious dressing and nice accompaniments. We shared the amazing braised short rib It was Super tender and yummy!

Last night we enjoyed a fabulous meal at the Creekside Bistro. They offer an innovative and fun cocktail menu, creative appetizers, and a great offering of entrees. We ordered the NY cutlet with bucatini and the braised short rib with gnocchi! Great service and well-rounded wine list too! We never write restaurant reviews, but we highly recommend you try Creekside!!

Made reservations a week ahead of time. It was not communicated to the Chef so we were denied. This place service sucks.

The best restaurant in the area including all the way to Arnold, real fine dining experience, food is exceptional, great service and atmosphere and chief is bringing food to you sometime. Only one drawback it wasn’t working on Wednesday and Thursday (probably the whole week) but today is Friday and I was happy to finally eat real delicious food!

An out of town experience. The food there was phenomenal. The kitchen and server deserves to be commended. Fresh food and friendly staff. Big cities have a lot of learn from them here.

What makes this place is first and foremost the staff, but anyone in BV knows people is what makes every good place tick. Burger was excellent, fries were stupendous and after a day of slogging around meadows looking for mushrooms a few of their fresh taps hit the spot. In door and outdoor seating. Nice to have a choice when summer mosquitoes are at their peak

Kid-friendliness: Lots of families with kids with kid options on menu

Parking: Plenty of parking behind the lodge

Wow, from our experience the wait for our food was worth it. We came to this bistro during holiday weekend, we waited for a table for 20-25 minutes. Although the food took a while, we enjoyed every single appetizers, entrees and dessert. I highly recommend the pork chop! It was cooked to perfection! The camarones (coconut) and burger were also satisfying. We shared dessert which was a Russian cake which was finished within 2 minutes because it was light and so good. Although the service was a bit slow, the staff were all super friendly.

Even though they were late to open at their scheduled time, and we were really hungry, but the wait was worth it. their food is really delicious, the staff are super nice. the view outside seeing the snow with fireplaces in the walls. it was a unique experience that we loved it. One thing I didn't like but it is not worth removing a star for, their crab cake was really smelly. even though it tasted good, but its smell was so bad that we couldn't eat even half of the plate.
