Food was awful. We had 2 plates from the buffet and a chicken sandwich and two sodas 75 USD. We all felt sick afterwards and paid a fortune. The meat was more fat than anything . The staff did not even give or display a receipt so I had no clue how much I paid for what. The restaurant itself is full of people reserving spots for them self by laying equipment on the tables and then hitting the slopes. Hard to get seating around 1:30pm. I even saw people with rice cookers and kettles on their tables. I saw at least 5 people's with their laptops out. Is this an office or a restaurant or is it a plain picnic area? The pizza place was closed. Not sure why. I will try to avoid this place at my next visit. Definitly a waste of money and the worst part of my other than this great day at bear valley ski resort.

Hot chocolate machine was empty. Buffet items had been left out without refreshing so long they were dry and crackly. Dining room needs more tables. Grill refused to make a veggie burger as they had just “closed” (even though cafeteria was still open).
