We had our dream wedding in September 2019 at Bear Valley Lodge. Starting on Friday night, we welcomed guests with pizza, beer, and salads at Sky High which was relaxing and fun after a day of travel. Family and friends got to enjoy the pool area or go for a hike around Lake Alpine until the late afternoon when we gathered for the ceremony at Bear Mountain. Breathtaking views! A great place to stop on your way to winter activities. Pictures are from may but most people have moved on except for a few locals. The lodge has a bar, restaurant, general store and a few other random shops. I would suggest stocking up on supplies before arriving since a 30 mile drive to town can take a hour. My family and I went for the day, to ski and snowboard. It’s was an amazing time. The price was nice, $99 for the 1timers includes everything you need. My boys loved the whole day! They even rent Inner tubes for the little ones $20 for the day. Had a great time! One thing, the do have a ton of restrooms which that was great, but! They are old and I think need to be updated.
