Mr. Taco is easily one of the best spots in Beaumont for fresh, delicious Mexican food. Every time I stop by, the food is consistently amazing — flavorful, hot, and made with care. Their tacos are packed with meat (the el pastor is great), the salsas are bold, and everything tastes like real, authentic cooking. You can tell they put pride into every plate.
The service is just as good as the food. When we went there was 30 minute wait because it was very busy. However, the staff is friendly, fast, and always makes you feel welcome. Even when they’re busy, they keep things moving and never compromise on quality. The restaurant is clean, comfortable, and perfect whether you’re grabbing takeout or sitting down for a quick meal.
My favorites are the carne asada tacos and the burritos — big portions, great seasoning, and super satisfying. If you're in Beaumont and craving Mexican food, Mr. Taco should be your first stop. Highly recommended!

Ordered a Beaumont burrito with Asada. Almost every bite I took I had to spit out gristle. You can’t eat that because it’s tough, it’s not fat, it’s like rubber. Very disappointed in the quality of meat used.

Ordered the Beaumont Burrito, essentially a Calif. Burrito. Order came and I have to say, probably the worst I ever had, the Carne Asada had the taste and consistency of roast, not exactly what was to be expected, maybe if I opted for a beer to drink I would not have cared, but when the only size you can get is a tall boy is ridiculous. Hubby had the shrimp tacos, they looked good, but not worth the money any longer.

The 2 staff members were extremely nice and respectful but the food was absolutely horrible. Order 3 different meals and each one was messed up in some way. 2 were replaced respectfully, just won’t be a returning customer. The servers were amazing, the cooks were absolutely horrible.
