I placed an order for two Katsu chicken plates with rice and extra macaroni salad on 8/21/2025. When I arrived home on my lunch break to eat my food, I notice several shards of aluminum or metal in my rice. I didn’t have time to call back yesterday because I had to hurry back to work. Call Ono this morning 8/22/2025 and an employee recommended that send the images to corporate. However, awareness needs to be brought to this matter. Check your food.

Was very unprofessional ordered 100 dollars worth of food they got my order wrong had to redo it . When I got home one of my plates had so little of chicken but rest of plates were ok . When I called the big size tall lady said they are cutting down on the portions wow ..let me say there was no chicken really so sad cause I loved ordeordering there well I was so disappointed and discusseded just sharing this sad situation. They definitely lost our business.
We have not been to ONO BBQ for about 8 months. There is not one close to where we live, but whenever we are near one we try to stop in for lunch. This location is newer, bright and clean. On this visit the staff was very friendly and welcoming. The food was good. In the past the portions seemed much larger - almost to the point of being absurd. While still generous we noted in our order and those around us that the portion size seems to have decreased since we last visited. Just a note as it is still plenty of food. I also feel that the rice has changed to a different type perhaps. However, food was tasy and served at a good temperature. The Shrimp were crispy the steak and the chicken flavorful. We will go again when we have the chance.

I visited the Beaumont, Ca. Location near my house. I came in early when there was not many customers. I ordered the Island Fish, which takes a little longer to prepare sometimes. My concern was that there were two young ladies working and the cook seemed to be paying attention to orders. Alice and her co-worker were so involved in their conversation that they were not paying attention to my order and another customer that arrived after me with a larger order, not only got their order before mine, but I had to wait again after waiting 15 minutes before she realized that the cook hadn’t received my order. I placed the order in the establishment. How did my order get overlooked I wonder. They got all of the previous orders out, including the other gentleman arriving after me. It felt like it wasn’t as important to her as the Latin and Caucasian customers. This is unacceptable and I hope this is addressed with the two young ladies that were speaking Spanish and English amongst each other. I speak some Spanish, but not everyone speaks the language and they didn’t know I spoke the language. This definitely needs to be addressed. I tried to contact corporate and to no avail. The mailbox was full, and not accepting voicemails. So, I left a review here in hopes I would receive a response.
