I bought a caldo de res + extra meat . And that caldo was bad . No season what's so ever . Straight boiled beef and caldo with raw papa and carrots and a sweet corn . Sick 🤢 never again

Local traditional restaurant, great margaritas, decent vibe, not crowded, not fancy, great service! We ordered carnitas burritos, they were large, with homemade tortillas, buuuttt… they were very greasy. I had a few bites, then had to toss it. I won’t order the burritos next time but willing to go back and try something else.

Stopped here at 8:15 pm on a Monday on our way back from a trip out of state looking for a meal to go. This places hours of business showed a closing time of 9pm and the sign out front said “yes we’re open come on in.” When my daughter and I entered the restaurant I told the hostess that I wanted to place an order to go. She replied by asking us to let her check if they could still cook or if the grill had been cleaned already. When she returned she let us know they already cleaned the kitchen and “couldn’t” make any food. I’ve worked in several family owned restaurants over the past 30 years and never did a customer get turned away before closing time. If the kitchen staff cleaned the grill early in hopes that they could leave early after their shift and a customer came in to place an order they’d have to cook food for them anyway. A line cook 100% can make food after the grill is cleaned, they just didn’t want to because that would mean they wouldn’t get to leave early. If your hours are until 9pm stay open until 9pm. But if you’re gonna shut your kitchen down before 8:15pm change your hours to 8pm. You wasted my time stopping at your place only to be turned away on a long day of traveling.

I asked for 2 salsas red and green, she said 1.99 each over the phone, I said great, I get these two for .69 each, and both half full and one was hardly blended. What is this even? The shrimp cocktail was good but lije 10 shrimp in it. The political pictures when you walk in? Def not going back and I was just picking up, she had ear things in her ears couldn't hear me, strange. First time here, usually go to banning which totally went down too, server was nice but HOLY moly was she the worst server ever, gave us the wrong food, 2 tables and we waited like the restaurant was full. It's so "let's see what happens" when we go to senorial and options are very limited in this area.

Stately: An Experience with contrasts.
El Señorial Mexican Restaurant offers an immersion in Mexican culture. There is vibrant music and colorful decoration, which evokes the essence of Mexico. Even the dishes look like what you find in typical Mexican restaurants, and the food seems to be taken from a traditional recipe book.
However, despite this presentation, something is missing in the flavor. Maybe it's my palate, accustomed to authentic Mexican seasoning, but the dishes lack that spark that would make them irresistible. It feels like a secret ingredient is missing, that magical touch that transports you directly to the streets of Mexico.

Don't get me wrong, the food is not bad. It is simply correct, it meets what was expected, but it is not surprising. If you are looking for a gastronomic experience that will make you vibrate, perhaps this is not the place. But if what you want is a Mexican type atmosphere and decent dishes, this restaurant may be an option to consider.
It will be a matter of taste and this is just a personal opinion where, for my taste, the food falls halfway in flavor. It is a valid option for those looking for a festive atmosphere and Mexican food without great pretensions.
