It was my first time eating here and I’ve been living in bell gardens my whole life I don’t know why I didn’t come here sooner this will be my go to from now on and I’m bringing my whole family I had the chilaquiles verdes with pollo deshebrada the molcajete for one and a low calorie dish there’s lot of options and deals the food was so delicious it was affordable for the portions and what we had to eat. If you’re in the area or live near by I would recommend you give this place a try it was phenomenal!!

Always an amazing experience here. The food is affordable, plentiful and delicious! Our family has been coming here for decades. I'm really sad it is going to be replaced by another Starbucks. Just not the same. We need small businesses and diners like this almost don't exist anyone sadly.

We love this place. I've liked just about all the dishes I've tried and I've been through 2/3 of the menu over a 4 year period. The service is always welcoming and efficient. I've only had to wait for a table 2-3 times in 4-5 years and we go 1-2 times a month. They even know what our usual choice is and offer it when we get there (2 coffees and a molcajete) 😂 or coffee and an avocado & spinach homlet. Go and try the chilaquiles and you won't be disappointed imo

I love Eva's!! My father and I have been going since I was a child. The staff has always been super friendly and attentive. Believe me when I say your coffee cup will never be empty. Love their food and definitely recommend
My honey and I wanted a new place to eat and we searched chilaquiles and this restaurant was not on our Google map. We were on our way to a different place but saw that there was quite a lot full of vehicles and you know that it means it's a great place to eat. We went in and asked to sit comfortably, and without hesitation, we sat at a booth right away. We had the best coffee. My honey had 3 servings, and that says a lot! He loves hot, good tasting coffee and food that we were not let down at all. We both had the chilaquiles verdes, chips, and salsa with a guacamole that seemed to never end and tasteful salsas! We even ordered to go for our boys at home! The service was excellent! Both the servers and the greeters were constantly asking us and others if there was anything else. They also serve Mimosas and beer, which is great with Mexican food any time! All the while we enjoyed our chilaquiles, huevitos, carne asada, and coffee, the music sparked great conversations with my honey and I. The restaurant was clean and the restroom, too! I'm certain there will be more visits to Eva's Cookery restaurant, which is open from 7am to 2pm. Mari was our server, and she treated us like important family!
