I stay in South Bay & decided to make the drive after watching a video in LA in Minute. My girlfriend and i loved it. We took some for the family and they also loved it. They had never heard of it. Now we'll be making that short drive from now on. Loved it.

For the price of chicken why is it desame price as Knotts berry chicken?? 12pc for $57 i rather go to Jollibee chicken its better not to greasy for $57 u got more chicken and few more side to choose from

The only reason I rated the service 4 stars was because of the 45+ minute wait in the drive thru. HOWEVER the chicken was awesome and the gizzards were fresh, and delicious. IMHO the wait was kinda sorta worth it so long as they’re cooking each order fresh and hot.
NOW FOR THE BAD PART…..
I originally wanted fish. The guy said they were out of fish.
I wanted apple shortcake but the guy said they were out of that.
We asked if they had ANY DESSERTS the guy said they had none.
So basically…. Only had chicken mashed potatoes and we had to wait for him to check and confirm IF OR NOT they had gizzards.
Fortunately they did.
Overall 4.5 stars as long as you’re willing to wait.

This place is so bomb! Chicken is so well seasoned and battered. The mashed potatoes, potato salad, baked beans, and biscuits are so good too. It’s been here forever and now I know why.
I grew up in HP and went to school in Bell gardens back in the late 90s-2001. I always drove by it and never stopped till today and damn what a treat! Def recommend!

Definitely a flash from the 80's, out in California for vacation, I haven't eaten pioneer chicken in 40years, I forgot All about the battered chicken, it was Okay taste like Chinese food fried chicken, the potato salad was good, nothing to brag about, just glad there still in business , see you in another 40.
