Beer is great. Just don't fall for the growler scam. Bought one a while back. Have gone back to get it refilled 8 times with their Pepino Sour, and 8 times I've been told, "We're not refilling growlers right now, we're saving the beer for the cans".You should be upfront about it, and tell people no refills after purchase. I would have still bought the growler. Just wouldn't have made a fool out of myself trying to take it back so many times for a refill. I still buy the cans.

The stars are honestly for the girl doing the Selena performance. First time visiting this location and it left a sour taste. Off the bat, the girl behind the register was very dismissive and her coworker had to interrupt their conversation for her to help me. I came in with a Groupon and they didn't give me the crowlers that I paid for. In exchange I got a 4pk because the girl said that's all she could do. Felt a bit cheated but can't fault her for that. The service was not good from the start though. If I come back here, it'll be for the pepino michelada, but it def won't be soon. Please work on the customer service.

Huge brewery with plenty of seating. They even have string lights up in one section of the brewery to set the mood. I got a flight of 4 beers and my favorite was the horchata stout.Service is great here. They’re always projecting some kind of sports game on the wall. Easy parking in the back.

I ate here while in town in February 2023. The food was REALLY good. The staff was super nice too. There were only two guys running the entire front of house- host, bartender, cleaning tables, and server... so it took them a little longer. However, they were really nice and the food was really good. I had the turkey sandwich on a Hawaiian roll with french fries. Then had a slice of cheesecake (I think it Nutella). Anyway, the meal was really good. If I was in the area again I would have no problem eating here again. The menu was really big and I had a hard time deciding what to get!

We visited for a conference in the hotel and figured this place would be easy after a long day of traveling. We were seated and waited 35 minutes for a waiter to come by to get our drink order. After placing the drink and food order, our food was VERY quick. Honestly, kind of suspiciously quick because one person got a medium steak. Food was mediocre. Ceaser salad was overpriced and the dressing had no flavor, burger had no taste either. Skirt steak and chicken sandwich were fine. Everyone was way overpriced for the quality. The worst part was that our server was rushing us big time. He started out wearing a nice dress shirt and before we left, he had taken it off and was wearing a tshirt. He came over at 8:55 while we were still eating and said “alright you ready to go? two checks?” We weren’t even done eating our food! I have never experienced something so rude. The restaurant was almost full and they basically kicked every one out. It was a Friday night in LA. Why are you kicking everyone out at 9pm? If that was absolutely necessary, he could have approached the situation a lot better. Maybe something like, “I’m sorry we are closing. Is there anything else I can get you? Is it okay if I print your checks? The bar in the lobby will remain open if you’d like to hangout there as well.” The tone of his voice was just very pushy and uninviting. And if you were closing, we would’ve been. Out of there sooner if it hasn’t taken 35 minutes to get a server to our table. We will not be back and won’t recommend it for future conferences.

Came here a few times. The last time was for a game and the table next to us was rooting for the opposing team. There was a man from that table who threw beer at as after his team won. After we let an employee know it turned out he was the father of the owner of the brewery so they couldn’t tell him anything. We went up to him just let him know that that was rude because even if it was an accident he didn’t apologize. His daughter came to his defense and told us that we should expect that when we come to a bar with drunk people so if we don’t want that to happen we shouldn’t come. So I just wanted everyone to know that if you don’t want beer to be thrown at you then don’t come to this establishment.But shoutout to Edgar from Beer Thug ( it’s a brewing company within the brewery) who felt bad for us and offered us a free round. However the rest of the establishment should have a better response to this situation.
My wife and I had a good time here. Cool crowd. Good beer. Good music. Very hip spot with the locals. They have games for any one to play. Open layout with a lot of seating. Will be back.

Personally, I love Border X brewing! I enjoy the craft beer, the social events, and occasional food selling! I often come during the week to catch up on work, drink a beer, and eat some tacos but need to use my slow personal hotspot. It would be sooooooo cool if they offered wifi for their customers. That would really seal the entire experience for me ??
