My go-to is always the fish ceviche. Unlike most other restaurants, this place serves mainly pure chunky fish ceviche. Most other locations serve you more of a tomato, onion and cucumber salad with a little fish mixed in and I don't like that. This is my go-to spot and I'm always keeping an eye open for a similar quality.

I have been going to El pollero 95 since i was 9 years old. They have changed locations one time. The tostadas are the best, and no one can beat that. The ceviche de pescado (fish) used to be amazingly good. Throughout the years, the taste has changed, and it's no longer any good, The quality of fish seems cheaper and a bit rubbery. I am now 40 years old, so I have been tasting this fish the last past 31 years. I no longer frequent this place, and I find myself going to el ceviche loco, which has way better ceviche, but the tostadas are not as good. One day, maybe El pollero 95 will bring back better quslity fish.
