i placed a order here today i got the pastrami dinner came with fries onino rings and salad the food was good but the fries were extremly cold. Next time i have to check my fries before i leave i hate cold fries.

There's many Jim's in this area, but I believe by far, this is the best one. Their breakfasts are so good. The staff is nice. They get you the food fast, which is a plus. There's parking, and their dining room area is so nice it has pictures from when they first opened, and it just has a nostalgic feeling to the place that makes it feel really comforting while eating there.

Let me start off by saying, I used to come here religiously since I was a kid. This place has never been nowhere near as expensive as it is now and that's not where it starts off. They purposely have only hamburger combos w/ no cheese so they can charge u an additional .99c to add cheese , extremely disappointing. Then I asked for a lemonade with my combo when it's already totally to $11 and some change , as I proceed to go sit down and wait for my food, I realized they had Horchata. So I asked the lady that took my order if she can change my lemonade for an horchata and she immediately point blank didn't hesitate to say yes... when she when back inside her work area she must have told someone the drink is changed and she come right back out to tell me it's going to be $1.50 EXTRA to change my drink to horchata and there's no refills. I proceeded to ask the lady where is there a sign that says that , just how yall are quick to put up signs that dressing is extra. So where's the extra fee sign for those agua drinks like horchata, Jamaica , etc. when I asked the lady that denied my drink change where does it say it's extra for AGUA DRINKS . She hesitated to answer and looked around stupidly as if there was a sign and then told me there's no sign but it's going to be extra. And then the extreme rudeness and defensiveness she had was so unnecessary and not acceptable, feeling like she had some type of authority over me. So when she proceeded to "show me it's extra" on the POS system to ring it up with my combo, nowhere did it pop up $1.50 extra for horchata ... so why was she trying to charge me $1.50? My first instinct is she wanted to pocket $1.50 as if it's going to make her one step closer to something else. The First Lady that helped me was extremely nice and helpful and apologized for her coworkers disrespect and gave me a dressing on the house bc I'm very sure she knew herself that her fellow coworker was trying to scam me into paying extra for my drink change that came with no refills. I respect that lady for covering up for that disgusting behavior that Second Lady had, she thought she was someone superior but she needs to stay in her place and actually do her job correctly and situate a misunderstanding situation. Yall should put up a fat sign saying extra for horchata and no refills with drinks similar to that. So embarrassing and disgusting. Trying to take my money for absolute reason when there was no POS and no sign proof of that extra charge .. thank you Yuliet for apologizing for your coworkers actions. Keep it up!

My family grew up not too far from Jim's and it's always been one of our go-to places for a quick and reasonably priced bite to eat. It's got a pretty standard menu for one of the "Greek burger joints" , with all sorts and sizes of burgers, a selection of breakfast entrees, some Mexican food, hot sandwiches including a really good pastrami, and more. The best value is one of the burger combo, with your choice of several burgers, fries, and a soft drink. The burgers are huge, and for our family, one order of fries gave us more than all of us could finish. If you can't eat a lot or you need to skimp a little, the junior burger is still bigger than a standard burger at any of the chains. Not a fan of burgers or want to eat healthier? Order the chicken breast salad, which gets you a grilled chicken breast, lots of lettuce and veggies, and toast; Mom loves it and it's enough for her to have two meals. About the only thing on the menu we've been disappointed in is the desserts. They offer chocolate chip cookies and brownies that look wonderful, but the couple of times we've bought them, you could tell they'd been sitting around for a while. Ask the folks at the counter how long ago they were prepared before you buy. Most folks who order from Jim's take their orders to go, but it does have a small dining area if you don't want to wait. Like most independent burger joints, the decor is heavy on dark wood paneling and the walls are full of pictures from high school events the place sponsored over the years; the place is clean and comfortable. If you're looking for good fresh food at a reasonable price, Jim's is a good choice - there's a reason it's still around after 70+ years!

I was craving a good burger and fries, but Bell HS had just let out, and BLVD burgers was probably going to be inundated with kids so I decided to take a turn and try out Jim's Burgers.This was not enjoyable at all.The fries were very bland, and half the bag was soggy. I tried to add flavor by dipping in 1000 island, but that was not great either.The burger itself lacked flavor and included a really thick piece of tomato, which ended up falling out. The bun was ok, but that's it.Overall, this will be my first and last time here. The only positive I can provide is the attentative lady who was working the dining area. She went around asking customers if they needed anything and, at some point, gave everyone lollipops.A ploy to gain points? Maybe.......
