La Casita Mexicana is a vibrant little spot with authentic dishes and gorgeous colorful decor. The mole trio sampler blew me away—each sauce had its own complexity. Staff makes you feel at home, even when the place gets busy. They also have a great selection of aguas frescas that taste like summer in a glass. A hidden culinary gem in Bell

🌟 Fantastic spot with unforgettable flavors!
The enchiladas with mole are hands-down the best I’ve ever had—rich, complex, and perfectly balanced. While the prices are a bit on the higher side, the depth of flavor and quality of the food make it absolutely worth it. A must-visit for anyone who appreciates authentic, mouthwatering mexican cuisine.

Horrible service…we came from Arizona and wanted to try this place… Enter the restaurant and told us waiting time was only 10-15 minutes, place was not full or busy…pass 20 minutes we kept on waiting and the hostess kept ignoring us… we ask two times how much longer and the two times told us 5 more minutes and they were so many tables empty…For whatever reason felt like the hostess was refusing to give us service… we left the restaurant feeling mistreated… so disappointed because the food in this place has good reviews but the service HORRIBLE

Food was very tasty. Disappointed no beans & rice was white, but that's just me. Salsas delish. Chicken mole great, friend came for big chile- not disappointed. Didn't get water refills.

Make sure to indulge in their incredible enmoladas, but first, treat yourself to the delectable chips with mole. I highly recommend their queso fundido with hierbas as well—it’s simply irresistible. This spot is an absolute gem in LA, just a short 15-minute drive southeast of downtown. Don’t miss out on this culinary experience!

Beautiful little place with colorful decor and seriously elevated Mexican food. The chiles en nogada are outstanding and feel like a holiday dish. Service is warm and makes you feel like family. They also sell their house-made mole jars, which are incredible. A bit pricier than your average taqueria but 100% worth it. Great for date night or impressing out-of-town guests.

Great authentic restaurant with delicious food. Everything about it is great. The food made is always delicious. I've tried the flautas and enchiladas de Chipotle. They have great natural drinks, guayava (guava) water. Price is reasonable as plates are filling. Service is great. I'll definitely come here again.

We went here to celebrate a birthday a couple weekends ago. To start with the good. This restaurant has my favorite dish, their Chili Enogada. It’s delicious and I get it nearly every time I go. This time, I got their green fish enchiladas. It was the first time I ordered it and it was fantastic. My mom got their Chipotle shrimp and it was similarly very good, although a light portion compared to the other dishes.
The unfortunate parts from this meal was that the other dishes, enchiladas “La Casita” and their carne asada “La Casita” seemed like a step down from previous visits. My wife ordered the flautas de tres moles and got a bad stomach reaction. At first we thought it was some other meal, but she had the left overs the next day and she had the same reaction.
Lastly, we ordered a wine and it came out very warm. I asked about it as it tasted off and I was not sure if it was the bottle having been opened a long time or the temp. The waiter said they serve the wine at room temp (felt like mid 70s in the restaurant). We asked how long the bottle had been opened and the waiter didn’t answer the question, just explained the room temp (which is too warm for a red wine), and then recommended a different wine. He brought another glass and it tasted the same. At this point I didn’t want to be “that person” and we accepted the wine although it was disappointing.

I recently discovered La Casita Mexicana, and it’s quickly become my go-to for authentic Mexican food. The chile en nogada here is a standout—poblano peppers stuffed with ground meat, topped with a rich walnut sauce. The atmosphere is cozy with vibrant decor, making it feel like you’re dining in someone's home. The service is attentive, and the margaritas are strong but refreshing. Definitely worth the drive if you’re craving traditional Mexican flavors
