1st time here. Mole de fresas is finger licking good. Plantains in tequila creamy sauce is a must have!!! Join it with a café de hoya, y por que no.

Ok so first of all, I’ve been coming here for quite some time give or take six or seven years. The food has always been good unfortunately this last three times service has been awful, especially today when I was served spoiled beans and I was told it was due to having too much onion mind you I grew up eating beans so we all know how they taste. Staff should acknowledge when something is not good and move and learn from it not how the client the paying customer is told this is how they cook beans I’m sorry I’ve eating Beans my whole life I know how they taste. Trust me beans are not supposed to have a sour taste even with onion in them.

They serve very, very small portions... In my experience, it's very expensive for the amount of food they give. I'll never come back again..

Food was great. Staff was prompt and super nice
Parking ..it's LA, you know how it is.
Surely to go back and enjoy the rest of the menu.

Green chilaquiles are savory and my favorite here, along with platano for desserts. Wish they had good bold coffee to seal the 5 star since I don’t do Cafe De Holla (customers preference).
Everything we ate was delicious, the delicious pipión, hand-made tortillas, the excellent atmosphere ? the waitress was very attentive to the service, thank you.

Nice place, coffee served is de la olla...would rather have regular but didn't get told that was my option. Other than that food was good. I'm from Boyle Heights so I get pretty good food out there. I might come back as family suggested this place. Expect waits.

Never do I write reviews, but this place definitely deserves one! Great authentic Mexican food/breakfast, the horchata left me speechless! LITERALLY. I ordered the chilaquiles verdes with a sunny side up egg on top and… May I say it was almost like I was back in Mexico eating my grandmothers cooking. Great place and excellent staff. Very family oriented just like our culture ????

To start you have to wait a long time for a table, then you have to wait to order like 20 minutes or more and another 20 minutes for them to serve you with a bad attitude, the mole was very bad, it doesn't taste like mole and the horchata water was sour even the slimy taste was felt. I DO NOT RECOMMEND IT!
I GAVE IT A STAR JUST TO COMMENT ON MY BAD EXPERIENCE, THE OWNER HAS AN AIR OF GREATNESS AND DID NOT WANT TO ACKNOWLEDGE MY COMMENT.
