They serve very, very small portions... In my experience, it's very expensive for the amount of food they give. I'll never come back again..

Little place out of the way ..amazing!
Food was great. Staff was prompt and super nice
Parking ..it's LA, you know how it is.
Surely to go back and enjoy the rest of the menu.

Love their mole and breakfast 💯

Green chilaquiles are savory and my favorite here, along with platano for desserts. Wish they had good bold coffee to seal the 5 star since I don’t do Cafe De Holla (customers preference).

Everything we ate was delicious, the delicious pipión, hand-made tortillas, the excellent atmosphere ? the waitress was very attentive to the service, thank you.

Nice place, coffee served is de la olla...would rather have regular but didn't get told that was my option. Other than that food was good. I'm from Boyle Heights so I get pretty good food out there. I might come back as family suggested this place. Expect waits.

Never do I write reviews, but this place definitely deserves one! Great authentic Mexican food/breakfast, the horchata left me speechless! LITERALLY. I ordered the chilaquiles verdes with a sunny side up egg on top and… May I say it was almost like I was back in Mexico eating my grandmothers cooking. Great place and excellent staff. Very family oriented just like our culture ????

To start you have to wait a long time for a table, then you have to wait to order like 20 minutes or more and another 20 minutes for them to serve you with a bad attitude, the mole was very bad, it doesn't taste like mole and the horchata water was sour even the slimy taste was felt. I DO NOT RECOMMEND IT!
I GAVE IT A STAR JUST TO COMMENT ON MY BAD EXPERIENCE, THE OWNER HAS AN AIR OF GREATNESS AND DID NOT WANT TO ACKNOWLEDGE MY COMMENT.

Breakfast burritos are so good here! I can tell this is a hidden gem because when I go, there are lots of locals waiting in line to eat in. I always order to go and get my food really fast. Would recommend.

The waitress was rude, she didn't even answer when we thanked her for bringing cutlery to the table, my order was chicken enchiladas and a carne asada taco, my taco (mini taco) was horrible, the meat was extra cooked and with a pico de gallo on top, no sauce on the side, well the point is that I asked for sauce (not from the waitress because I never pay attention to my table) it was not spicy sauce, they gave me sauce from a pot, a small portion and without flavor when I asked for my bill It turns out that they charged me $2.75, I paid $3.00 + 2.75 =5.75 for a moment not even a burnt and flavorless asada taco. By the way, they give you your note to pay only with the total and without specifying what each thing costs. The mole was ok, neither good nor bad, I ordered stuffed chili to take away which looks like it is not appetizing. But I think the worst thing is that both the cook and the waitress are bitter and make the other workers miserable and the atmosphere is very heavy. If you want to eat in a pleasant atmosphere with a good vibe, this restaurant is definitely NOT where you want to go to eat. Terrible experience, I won't be coming back.
I don't mind paying 6 dollars for a taco if at least they serve it to me politely and willingly and without hiding the prices that you are going to pay in the end.

Small, clean, whole in the wall with delicious food. The waitress is young and lacks people skills but took care of us. You can park in the back or good luck with street parking. Price is right for what you get.

I'm Hispanic so I usually don't eat at Mexican restaurants because I can eat better food at home but this place is amazing. I've only been there twice and now I dream about their chillaquiles.

You can also request your chilaquiles to be made spicy. I love the level of tanginess ( not too much like other restaurants.) The potatoes in the meal are out of this world.

Also, it's pretty hard finding an horchata that doesn't have too much of that chalky consistency. This drink is absolute perfection. Perfectly strained. It's a bit on the sweeter side but I don't mind it. The pumpkin seeds and sugar rim on the cup knock this one out of the park.
