Recommended break for location and price. The staff is more complicated but it must depend on the shift. Small tables on the terrace at the back are a good idea.

Food and Chai tea is overrated and overpriced. Starbucks Chai is better than this. Sorry just expected more from this place at this location.

My favorite bakery even in Larkspur Landing or here.I came in on last Wednesday and as there were no tourist but just the locals it felt peaceful and a day to spend your start at this bakery.I decided to get an orange juice, a croissant and I also bought a pain with dates and brie which is always delicious. After that I bought another tea and a blueberry muffin to take with me.I love when people know their locals and when Ben (My favorite bakery even in Larkspur Landing or here.I came in on last Wednesday and as there were no tourist but just the locals it felt peaceful and a day to spend your start at this bakery.I decided to get an orange juice, a croissant and I also bought a pain with dates and brie which is always delicious. After that I bought another tea and a blueberry muffin to take with me.I love when people know their locals and when Ben (Rueben Becker) the local lawyer who has his office across from this bakery get's welcomed with; "Hello Ben, I will be right with you", you know they invest in their community.I got a little chat with Ben as I was deciding on what to take. He said I come here everyday and get my deliciousness and at 4 pm I get my soup.I also have to give high praise to the man behind the counter as he has such a good vibe. While he is helping his customer he also greets the next one by saying; I see you and I will be with you soon. Great vibe he has and very polite. Wow what a customer service! The place also looks so clean due to the employees. And yes I always come back to this bakery!

This place has the ability to ruin your day or be completely unmemorable. Yesterday I ordered my coffee, a lunch for me and a grilled cheese for my child. We had a conversation about the kind of bread and I went with the sourdough. My other items came out quickly but after waiting 15 minutes I asked about the sandwich and I was told "you didn't order one". I reminded the cashier, who was at the time standing away from the register, about our bread conversation and without even glancing up at me or the room, she motioned over her shoulder and said I could go order one. There was a line of people and I had run out of time. I called the manager and all he offered was a verbal apology before quickly hanging up. That same day, while waiting, I heard not one but two other customers complain that they had been waiting for something (like a basic coffee) and told "you didn't order one". I've heard countless tales of poor customer service and mistakes with no apologyies. I want to like this place because it is convenient. But the staff is generally pretty rude (aside from the bussers and kitchen team who are always happy, welcoming and appropriately apologetic when management level staff mess up), the cashiers and managers seem to exasperated by having to help customers and I'd say at least 25% of the time my order is missing something or incorrect. I'd rather go to the other friendly and beautiful coffee shop by the water but because Rustic offers online ordering and parking, I still begrudgingly go to them. I need to stop. I'm so tired of being let down by them and I know better. Please give the other mom and pop shop (by the ferry stop) your business if you can.

Sandwiches and bread are decent. Pass on the coffee & pastries (were they old? Just busted? Bleh).

Today was a perfect day in Marin County, CA. My friends and I took a leisurely 20 mile bike ride on the " Tib Loop" -- a road through Corta Madera and around a picturesque peninsula to Tiburon, CA. Our stop at Rustic Bakery is not uncommon, but today, my order for the Pumpkin Pear soup was uncommon for me. And I'm glad I broke tradition from my usual Asian chicken salad with the most delicious peanut dressing. (Which, by the way, both of my companions enjoyed!) the soup was thick, creamy, nutty and slightly sweet. If only it had a dollop of cream fresh--but let's not gild the lily! Of course it came with a side of Rustic's most delicious sour dough, which, as you could have seen had I not accidentally deleted my photo , I thoroughly enjoyed dipping it into the luscious soup!

I think this place should be better rated. Good coffee, lots of options and really good food.

Rustic bakery has a wide menu of delicious options for breakfast, lunch, pastries and coffee. Their breakfast burrito with potatoes and eggs was toasted perfectly and fresh. However, the portion was fairly small, especially for the price. The caramel iced coffee had a great flavor too

Nice bakery with lots of options for sit down items and baked goods. The portions of the baked goods were quite large. We arrived around 9 am on a Saturday and easily found seating after ordering. We got a jam and cheese croissant, a lemon croissant and the tuna melt. Nice flaky croissants and the tuna melt was what it was.

Sweet little spot in Tiburon. Very friendly staff, pretty presentations. We selected savory pastry's, a little disappointed that they did not offer to warm them. After sitting down, we walked back and ask them to do so, and they gladly did. And YUM!

How do you run out of eggs at 9:50 on a Thursday and you open at 7? Couldn’t order breakfast sandwich because they were starting lunch at 9:50 in the am.Weird. There’s a market next door to their cafe…was gonna buy them a dozen so they can keep breakfast going another hour. We’ll pass and hit up another cafe.

Just awful. I asked for a pot of tea with only half full of water. The person taking me order confirmed "so you want it only half full". Of course it came ten mintues later overflowing with water. I took it back and the manager told me "that's how we make it here. we don't do it any other way". That's after paying 23 dollars for an avocado toast and a tea. Way overpriced and terrible customer service.

Gorgeous shop with so many tempting choices I want to eat here everyday until I try them all. All the pastries are large and shareable or you can order from the menu. I had the avocado toast with egg and the avocado was fresh mashed. My egg was a just barely hard boiled perfection. The staff was kind and helpful with all my questions.
