They served the best Corn Beef & Cabbage I have ever had. It was wonderful, lean, tender, And very tasty. The waiting staff was also superb. I recommend them very highly.

Wonderful food and generous servings. Recommend Greek salad. A small is large enough to share. A medium is large enough for four to share.

Very disappointing. We made a reservation for 6 people and arrived on time. The owner led us to the back corner where they had to cobble two tables together to accommodate us. As he passed one table of 6 in front of the stage, he told the people they weren't supposed to be seated there but did nothing to move them. Instead we were given the back corner table on a side sight line with the entertainment. We asked the waitress and were told one larGE group had seated themselves in the entertainment room when they had reservations for the dining room but no one made them move. They had great seats for the g entertainment. Service is very slow, large quantities of okay food. We will not be going back.

My mother in law wanted to go here for her birthday. It didn't look too impressive from the outside in a strip mall, but it had great ambience once inside. The service was perfect, friendly and efficient. The rack of lamb was delicious and the Hungarian dishes that my wife and mother in law had were authentic, per my MIL. We will definitely eat here again

OMG! We had so much fun here! If you were in the desert 30 years ago and remember what the nest used to be this is similar. The food is really, really good. And they always have live music in the Picasso side of the restaurant. People get up and sing and dance with the live music. The service is a bit slow, but the food is worth the wait. The portions on some of the dishes are enough for two people. Always are sure you ask about specials, I had one of the best sea bass dishes I have had in a long time. I think this will become one of our local favorites!

After our experience tonight, I'm shocked at how awful staff is. First off I understand the older decore and ambiance. Which I can appreciate. Not common in America. But I didn't make reservations for an American experience. The music is just sad. One handsome fellow in a glitter jacket, indictive of the 60s or misplaced Michael Jackson. He unfortunately had music playing, and basically sings karaoke with bongo drums thrown in intermittently. This place will only serve you if your over 65 years of age and white. We walk into a wave of pasty old pace makers and geriatric women, wine wasted with a pound of make up on, waving $300 scarves around to the tired music blasting throughout the small strip mall room and bar. I look around this sad, decaying relic that used to boast some of the finest international cuisine and realize it will die along with their enfeebled and atrophied customer base since they refuse to serve anyone other than the bedraggled Canadians that swarm like locusts over our valley. This could be a desert gem that spans generations like Spencer's or even Sherman's. But they cannot or will not accept anyone without an AARP card.

We were so excited to try this place. Made reservations for 7pm got there at 6:50. We had been looking forward to this all week. It was just my husband and I. But we wanted to try three of the entrees, including the lamb, both soups and the Greek salad. We had been pouring over the online menu and pictures for days. We wanted to try everything. We get there, on time. Our table is set up. We walk in and there's no hostess,or hostess stand, so its confusing but after a couple of minutes a lady escorted us to our table. Then we sit and the hostess brings us waters after about 5 minutes and says she's sending the server over. So we sit.... and sit....and at about 7:15 a hungarian woman brings out food to the table next to us. She notices that no one has come to our table and says the server will be out in "5 seconds" ....so we sit.... and sit....watching an unfortunate looking bald man, who I assume was the server, do one single task at a time. Back and forth like an 18 year old rookie server at Red Robin. A group of four walks in and is seated at 7:20. They then got their drinks at 7:35, all wine and coffees, which are a lot of time to set up. Still no server. Finally, after 35 full minutes, I wave the hungarian lady over. I exclaim how unacceptable it was that we were left to be ignored all night! To be fair, she was apologetic, but we were so upset! She offered to take our drink order, but as I considered walking out or going ahead and ordering, the bald man-child server looks over at us and smirks. At this point, I yell (had to yell over the atrocious music)we're leaving! I happen to look up at the server, who is clearly happy we're leaving and giving a smart aleck FU face at us, I look at him and dump my half empty water and ice on the table. Now he realizes he'll have to pay attention to the two top afterall.

While vacationing in Palm Desert for the weekend, I was dying to try this restaurant. I love European food, and especially Stuffed Cabbage. Theirs was great, my friend had corn beef, mashed potatoes and veggies. They brought my friend a delicious cake dessert. The restaurant was full, every table was taken, and without a reservation, I don't think we would have gotten a table. There were musicians playing and even taking requests. Everyone got up and danced, and we had a great table. Definitely worth stopping here for dinner when in the Palm Desert area.

The food, atmosphere, and service is top notch. It was our 1st time there and not last for sure. Their portions are HUGE, so feel free to share it; otherwise, you will be taking some food home.
