First visited this place in Italy about 9 years ago, so was excited when they started opening up here. The sandwiches are unreal here !! A bit slow service though. Not like they do it in Italy knowing how to pump things out quickly haha

So it was our first time there, heard it through a friend who spoke very highly, read the reviews as well. I’m not sure where these people ate but I have to disagree with all the inflated reviews. The bread was staled, way too crunchy and so thin that the top part was broken. I felt as though I was back in Italy with their careless customer service. I did nit complain b/c I told my friend that we should give at a try. My hands were a mess b/c I had to hold the bread in place while I took bites. Again the bread was so hard and staled. The only thing that was good was the greens. Not enough meat/protein, very thinly sliced which I like but not 20 dollars worth. To be honest I have had better sandwiches at Whole Foods. I would NOT go back.

I’m on a mission to visit as many of their locations as I can. This is the Beverly Hills location.

Solid 4. Good and fast service. I got the one with pistachio, mozarella and mortadello. It was very well balanced a good portion sandwich. The only problem was a stale bread which was hard to chew. Outside of that I recommend it and I will try another sandwhich next time. They play modern italian music at the acceptable volume level. They also have a restroom and nice cute seats. Good vibes good food

The staff making the sandwiches show no attention to customer requests, and with no live support on Uber Eats, there’s zero accountability.
Love the taste of Italy, would like the sitting to be nicer

I have no words to describe this sandwich. All the ingredients were very fresh and the bread was just out of the oven. Simply perfect. The blonde lady who prepared the sandwich was very friendly and sincere, thank you. Choosing a sandwich that suits your taste is important. I definitely recommend trying it.

This is the best location of all the others!! The bread is always slightly crispy on the outside and they add just the right amount of fillings, unlike the other branches. Also, the staff is very friendly! The sandwiches are also huge - definitely worth the price if you split it into two meals.

This is my absolute favorite go-to Italian sandwich place ever in the whole wide world unless I'm in Italy and actually eating it there

Ordered for pick up with an hour notice - wasn’t ready for another 30 min after and there was no line. Never mind the fact when I finally got it, it was incorrect and the add ons I paid for weren’t in the order. Had to wait another 20 min for them to fix it. Bread was really, really old, dry and stale. So disappointing.

I decided to give AV another chance after having eating an underwhelming sandwich there a couple of months ago. I really want to like it and although I’m sure the ingredients are high quality, the sandwich (a simple caprese this time) contained flavorless tomatoes and lacked seasoning. The best part was the bits of olive oil I got here and there. I really, really don’t get the hype.

I’ve always been a loyal fan of All’Antico Vinaio and often visit the Koreatown location, but my experience at the Beverly Hills branch was extremely disappointing.
It took 25 minutes just to get one sandwich, despite there only being one small group of two customers ahead of me. During that time, the chef in charge allowed them to taste every possible ingredient and even grilled bread for them to dip in vinegar, while the line behind us grew longer and longer. There were at least two other staff members standing by doing nothing, instead of helping move things along.
To make matters worse, although the chef had taken my order early on, he completely forgot about it. He served the woman behind me and several others after her while mine was ignored—until I finally had to point it out at the register. The chef gave me a half-hearted apology when he finally came back to re-take the order, but there was no follow-up, no real effort to make up for the mistake.
And when I finally received my sandwich (La Inferno), the taste was just as disappointing as the service. The flavor was flat and uninspired. While I saw others being served warm, oven-fresh bread, mine was cold and unappetizing. The eggplant was mushy and poorly seasoned, the zucchini seemed to be missing altogether, and the whole sandwich tasted incomplete—neither here nor there.
This level of disorganization, inconsistency, and disregard for customers is unacceptable, especially for a brand I’ve supported and recommended to many friends. Sadly, I won’t be coming back to this location again. I hope management takes this feedback seriously so that no one else has to deal with such poor service and quality.
