Thank gosh francisco is the host there. He makes you feel at home. Remembers guests. Makes sure everything goes smoothly. They also got rid of some of the awful waiters. Now they are so much better. My only complaint is the quantity of pasta. Very small.

Always busier as the night goes on...love coming to sit at the bar...the staff and owner are always so nice. The new spring menu is to die for... mortadella pizza!!! Spring salad w/ peas & feta!!!

The restaurant was busy and understaffed, we were seated 30 minutes after our reservation and waited another 20 minutes before our waiter appeared. The was generally good although not for the price and our interlude of shared pizza was undercooked. We ordered drinks that never arrived, which still appeared on our bill and were subsequently removed. We brought a gift wine to celebrate a birthday and despite our long wait and missing drinks, still charged a corkage. It was an unforgettable and unpleasant dining experience.

Ordered the Pollo mattone and spinach. It was served with a sauce/or gravy on both. Traditionally it is crispy cooked under a brick and spinach steamed. Did not like this preparation at all.

Nerano was a perfect spot for a reunion with friends from Italy, who felt completely at home. Black cod and black truffle pappardelle were excellent but that's no surprise as Nerano never disappoints.

We love this restaurant but unfortunately we waited over 30 minutes to be seated from our reservation time. Although we didn't mind the wait that much we thought perhaps we could have gotten a complimentary drink or dessert as a nice gesture. Otherwise the food and service was very good

We are in a long-term stay in LA and missing our favorite Italian neighborhood spots in New York City. Nerano gives an elegant yet neighborhood vibe. The food was terrific. We had a perfectly dressed tricolore salad, linguine with clams, salmon baked, according to my instructions and a vegetable side. All were done impeccably. Service was prompt, friendly and unobtrusive. We are so glad we found Nerano. We will definitely return on our next trip to LA.

This physical appearance of the restaurant is simple elegance, understated with perfectly curated art and fixtures. The food is excellent though a bit pricey, but don't be put off since the whole experience is first class.

This was my first trip to Nerano since before the pandemic. The food is still outstanding. The service is great. This is a top notch Italian restaurant. It's not cheap, but it's great!

Francesco is the Heart of Nerano. Full stop. If everyone at Nerano had the same level of professionalism, pride, passion and understanding of the value of hospitality this place would be a hotspot. Thank you Francesco for all your efforts. Truly appreciate it. However, Francesco cannot do it all by himself. This business is all about team effort. The hostess lacks presence and personality. This is New Year's Night and she only radiated a severe lack of energy when she is the first point of contact. The bartender lady was the sweetest person. She took care of us as soon as we walked in. (We had to wait at the bar for a good amount of time as our table was not ready) I regret not getting her name but if you are reading this please know you are doing a terrific job! The server came to us after an obscene amount of time had passed. He was aloof and never introduced himself. When he showed up, he frantically asked: “ do you have any questions?” Seriously?! This is your opening? What happened to: *** Good evening gentlemen Thank you for your patience, my name is “server” welcome to Nerano! These are our specials tonight, have you had time to look at the menu? *** This is a New Year's Eve dinner , not your usual Sunday night. You would expect a true cheerful initial welcoming but no. That is too much to ask despite premium pricing. This server was checked out the entire night. The food was quite underwhelming, under seasoned and quite basic. I believe if you decide to give Nerano a try please do yourself a favor and seat at the bar. Don't waste your time and money by seating at a table. Otherwise skip this please altogether and go to Mozza.

Love this place. Amazing service. Good variety and top quality food. Great location - easy in and easy out! Want a restaurant near Beverly Hills and Century City - this is my primo place!

Amazing service from beginning to end. The pasta is delicious! Dessert heavenly. We came after seeing Love Actually and it was a breeze to park and seated right away. Wonderful and warm dining experience.

First time here. Picked based on good reviews. Service was excellent. Lots of specials. We settled on the cod and a pasta. Both were excellent! Significant wine list but still some bottles under $100 which we enjoyed. Place was full at 8pm on a Friday.

Excellent food, good service. Lots of tasty menu options, including a variety of pizzas and pastas. Outdoor patio dining was lovely. Highly recommended!

There has been a change in staff. They need to learn about how to keep from being intrusive. It is not the same as when Patrick was there . Hopefully they will learn soon because it is a great restaurant.
