Sadly was so excited to go here but it took over an hour (nearly an hour and half - we timed it) between our first and second round of drinks. Honeslty, mistakes happen, but the lack of apology, acknowledgement or accomodation after was disappointing by staff in person and who ignored my email after the fact.
Good place and good view
The service here is terrible. We asked specifically for a balcony table when making our reservation. We did not get that and instead as a party of two were given a makeshift table right in the middle of the walkway between the balcony and main restaurant. We asked to be moved as it was a very exposed spot with people walking past constantly and were told it was all they had so we either had to deal with it or could leave!
They then served us a brunch menu despite it being 1:45 PM? I was ready for lunch but the only options were brunch or pizza.
I have been to so many competing restaurants across Beverly Hills and Danté fell so short on service. It’s the little things - the waiter didn’t keep an eye on our water, the wait time was very long to even take our orders and the worst part was after we finished the plates were not cleared away for a while (20-25 minutes). Unacceptable. We finally managed to track down our waiter and ask for the bill 35 minutes after our meal had ended. Had to then wait another 10 minutes for him to process it and give us back the card.
It was too loud and crowded. Very cramped if not in a large group who are given better seating options. Not what you’d expect for this price point at all. It seems they’ve created these makeshift tables to try and fit more people in the restaurant.
The food was fine but I couldn’t enjoy it because of the chaotic ambience. I will say it was under seasoned though - I had the halloumi salad and it came with only 3 small slices of halloumi.
Yes the view is nice but you won’t even see it if you’re indoors and you can get the same view elsewhere in the city.
I hate that I have to write this as I LOVE the Maybourne and have been a loyal customer to various services of theirs but Danté is such a disappointment. My recommendation is for you to eat at the restaurant on the ground floor instead that overlooks the Beverly Canon Gardens. I’ve been there several times and the service was 10/10. I’m surprised both are even part of the same hotel.
My advice is give Danté a miss.
Didn't want to leave this review because I love the Maybourne and my family always stays here when they visit me. It was my bday this week and I had a spa day with my mom first , my day was going well until i decided to come up to Dante , which I have been before and the service was great but this time I had this server (I didn't catch her name) but she had tattoos all over and short black hair , don't know if she was having a bad day or if this is the norm but she made me feel so un welcomed and uncomfortable , every time I would say or ask her something simple about the menu she would just give me this dead stare and she would reply in a condescending rude way, I was close to asking for the manager and requesting another server cause I was not in the mood for her attitude but I ended up leaving and going to another restaurant to celebrate. I don't think I will be going up there any time soon and will stay at the restaurant downstairs at the terrace next time I'm at the Maybourne . The food was okay but Please do better with the service .
This place is soo great. The service was superb, the atmosphere was excellent. LOVE IT ❤️❤️❤️
What a mess. Yes we got lucky to be seated but, with a time limitation. Service was slow and forgetful. So sadly with a time limit ruined the experience. The weather was nice and the view was spectacular.
Disappointed with the experience. They promote a $10 martini happy hour, but we were charged full price. Very misleading and unprofessional. The calamari was bland and overcooked, and the pizza came out underdone. Overall, it felt like overpriced bar food trying to pass as upscale dining. Not worth it.
Security are thugs. Attack innocent woman
A perfect stay!! Celebrating my husband’s 60th! From the time we arrived, the service and attention to detail was impeccable! The entire staff was so welcoming and went out of their way to make sure my husband was enjoying his birthday celebration. It was our first stay at the Maybourne. It will be the only place we stay from now on. Thank you so much to the entire staff for making our stay so special.
Bit boring ? nice drinks tho

Absolutely superb spot! The food is delicious, with authentic flavors and beautifully presented dishes that make each bite a delight. The service is attentive and friendly, making you feel truly welcome. The restaurant’s design is beautiful, with elegant decor and a dimly lit, intimate atmosphere that sets the perfect romantic mood. Whether you’re on a date night or just looking to enjoy great Italian cuisine, Dante is a must-visit.

This could not have been a more perfect brunch. We stayed at the Melbourne and got up to the restaurant right when they opened so we could choose where we wanted to sit. The view is breathtaking, the food was great but the customer service was the most impressive. They were so attentive and really made my husbands birthday unforgettable. I highly recommend dining here if you’re in Beverly Hills.

Great atmosphere and one of the best views in town. However, the food does not live up to its price tag. Drink menu is mostly good, but martinis are served lukewarm

During my one and only visit to LA, my colleague and I ended up at Dante’s via recommendation.
While there, Nate and Tyler provided outstanding customer service and a comfortable environment for guests. I was so so on my trip to LA, but this place was worth the visit. I will be returning on vacation just to visit these guys and experience Dante’s again.

I should give the food 4 stars out of five but the service and hospitality exceed anybody expectation. The owner work in the floor does not stop. I walked in at 11 o’clock at night. She was working on the floor. I came back for brunch next day she still working on the floor. She’s doing her social media she’s running food taking drink orders you have no choice by giving her five out of five I wish them the best and the most. success
