A great breakfast restaurant inside the Waldorf.

Very nice and attentive service. Breakfast food was hit or miss, but I enjoyed the French toast. Crepes were soggy. Breakfast burrito was just ok - tasted dry. Overall still had a good experience. Would dine again if we were in the hotel but wouldn't come just for the food.

Wonderful service on Christmas day for brunch. Food was good and the staff was very friendly and responsive.

Very frustrating and disappointing with upcoming Christmas brunch event. We specifically planned and made reservation on Nov 5th, which is a month ahead for our brunch, as well prepaid $506 and they had our money for a month, now, today Billy from restaurant reservation department called and said, oh well, we have a bouquet party last min have and we will cancel your reservation, because we can!
How about our planning and using our deposit for a month? And plus, only few weeks before a special Day there is no other places we wanted have reservations available on time we need, since plannings with family.
Did you think about that? Nobody cares. Restaurant only cares of getting more money from bouquet, very unprofessional and disappointing. We were hoping, at least this new restaurant, because two years ago, what more upscale one instead, which one was replaced with this one, will be better and improved with customer service, but not much. For big hotel, as Astoria, it should not be happening. By the way, we a regular guest for past 15 years, but nobody seemed care or even apologized for.

Espelette was amazing for our first breakfast in California! Accommodating is an understatement, they treated our 6 month old like an honored guest! Their highchair was super clean and nice, the valet helped us get our stroller set up, and the hostess stored it away while we ate. The food was very good, and the restaurant is beautiful inside

Second time at Espelette, and it has quickly become one of our favorite spots. The service is impeccable, with staff who make you feel truly cared for. The food is delicious—thoughtfully prepared and full of flavor. The ambiance is simply lovely, creating a warm and inviting atmosphere perfect for any occasion. Highly recommend!

We celebrated my husband's birthday, the team did a great job, very engaging and professional since we arrived. We will be back.

We love returning to the Waldorf Astoria and dining at Espelette. The food and service are always exceptional.

We love the restaurant! The staff is outstanding and the food wonderful. Jaime, our server, is so friendly and really great. Oxana, the hostess, is also always so warm and welcoming. We had the Arabic breakfast and it was outstanding! Looking forward to our return!

Our usual spot for breakfast when we stay at Waldorf Astoria Beverly Hills. Our 2nd day in a row this time. We love the veteran crew of Jaime, Victor, Alfonso, Elvis, Fermin and other bus people staff. They all are friendly, professional and work so well as a team. We always look forward to seeing them and catching up with them. The American Breakfast combo is great: we love the heirloom tomato/cucumber salad and the fingerling potatoes that come with it. Great La Colombe coffee and Earl Grey Lavender tea. Fresh-squeezed orange juice. Good sourdough and rye toast, ham and bacon. All praise and no complaints. Yesterday there were two separate guests who were clueless and oblivious, talking on phone and Zoom on laptop, unbothered by the fact that they were in a public room with other guests. Guess it's an LA narcissistic thing? Today it was very quiet, as we sat inside and most people sat outside.

What a great gem this was, and was pleasantly surprised by how all the boxes for everything a great restaurant should be were checked with flying colors! It was nowhere near the experiences I’ve had from the rooftop restaurant of the same Waldorf Astoria in Beverly Hills!
My girlfriend and I went here and we were greeted by very friendly staff and we felt welcome. It was quiet and not very crowded but the ambience is beautiful and my gosh! The service was top notch! Shout out to Robert Avelino who was very knowledgeable and on point with all of his food and drinks recommendations! We did the Chef’s Choice menu and we were very glad we did! Everything in that menu was delish .. the appetizer that was the scrambled egg with caviar set the decadence of the whole evening experience!
All the staff were very attentive and the assistant waiter Barnabe ( I apologize if I spelled this wrong) did an amazing job as well. The restaurant manager Shawn ( again, I apologize if I misspelled the name) made sure to stop by our table and made us felt comfortable in the whole evening. We did not feel rushed at all and we enjoyed everything thoroughly! I opted for the salmon as the main dish and it was amazing while my girlfriend opted for the wagyu. The apple tart dessert!!!!! My golly! That was the best Apple Tart I’ve had and I just came back from Paris not too long ago! Oh and let’s not forget the cocktails! Whatever we had, one that was Bourbon with egg whites was amazingly good!
Parking is Valet only and it is about $20 for 3 hours.

Overall, I love this restaurant and will definitely be back here again with my family! They need to experience this for sure!
