We love the restaurant! The staff is outstanding and the food wonderful. Jaime, our server, is so friendly and really great. Oxana, the hostess, is also always so warm and welcoming. We had the Arabic breakfast and it was outstanding! Looking forward to our return!
Our usual spot for breakfast when we stay at Waldorf Astoria Beverly Hills. Our 2nd day in a row this time. We love the veteran crew of Jaime, Victor, Alfonso, Elvis, Fermin and other bus people staff. They all are friendly, professional and work so well as a team. We always look forward to seeing them and catching up with them. The American Breakfast combo is great: we love the heirloom tomato/cucumber salad and the fingerling potatoes that come with it. Great La Colombe coffee and Earl Grey Lavender tea. Fresh-squeezed orange juice. Good sourdough and rye toast, ham and bacon. All praise and no complaints. Yesterday there were two separate guests who were clueless and oblivious, talking on phone and Zoom on laptop, unbothered by the fact that they were in a public room with other guests. Guess it's an LA narcissistic thing? Today it was very quiet, as we sat inside and most people sat outside.
What a great gem this was, and was pleasantly surprised by how all the boxes for everything a great restaurant should be were checked with flying colors! It was nowhere near the experiences I’ve had from the rooftop restaurant of the same Waldorf Astoria in Beverly Hills!
My girlfriend and I went here and we were greeted by very friendly staff and we felt welcome. It was quiet and not very crowded but the ambience is beautiful and my gosh! The service was top notch! Shout out to Robert Avelino who was very knowledgeable and on point with all of his food and drinks recommendations! We did the Chef’s Choice menu and we were very glad we did! Everything in that menu was delish .. the appetizer that was the scrambled egg with caviar set the decadence of the whole evening experience!
All the staff were very attentive and the assistant waiter Barnabe ( I apologize if I spelled this wrong) did an amazing job as well. The restaurant manager Shawn ( again, I apologize if I misspelled the name) made sure to stop by our table and made us felt comfortable in the whole evening. We did not feel rushed at all and we enjoyed everything thoroughly! I opted for the salmon as the main dish and it was amazing while my girlfriend opted for the wagyu. The apple tart dessert!!!!! My golly! That was the best Apple Tart I’ve had and I just came back from Paris not too long ago! Oh and let’s not forget the cocktails! Whatever we had, one that was Bourbon with egg whites was amazingly good!
Parking is Valet only and it is about $20 for 3 hours.
Overall, I love this restaurant and will definitely be back here again with my family! They need to experience this for sure!

I had breakfast here 2 days in a row and had been there occasionally when staying at the property in the past.Unfortunately I have never had a good experience here. Which is odd as even LA airport hotels do beautiful delicious breakfats in LA The ambience is spectacular and the servers really mean well and are very kind. Unfortunately I've dined in 3 and 4 stars hotels and simply put the food is way better. Espelette seems focused on presentation to their credit however when it comes time to execute is where it somewhat falls apart. Scrambled eggs came out highly satisfactory one morning and just ok the next morning mediocre. First morning eggs came with potatoes and tomatoes second morning served with nothing. It took 20 minutes to get my order taken and had to stand and escalate to get someone to come to the table. They did take a drink order right away upon arrival.Mind you there were only 6 tables occupied in the main dining room. Smoked salmon was fishy the prior day and they dumped dried up old scraps elegantly piled up on a plate and poured oil over it to hide the dryness. When asking for a fresh baked muffin was told we only do an apple danish or croissant. The Waldorf Astoria in Las Vegas has an exceptional pastry chef making wonderful varieties of beautiful pastry meeting 5 star expectations and a seasoned team that work brilliantly together.Leadership lacks severely at Espelette with team direction. Fruit plate had to much out of season fruit and spoiled blueberries that were mush.Rather than throw them away they serve it.Beautifully presented of course Cost is over the top high on everything so expectations go high. Gorgeous surroundings wonderful music and just sad all the way around from a culinary perspective and crazy expensive. The hotel itself is amazing but sadly no one cares about making improvement going forward. They did offer to take care of my breakfast but I already had most of it it included with room Won't be trying dinner here!
We always love staying at the Waldorf and having breakfast. Here is one of the great treats! The service is fantastic and the patio is just a great setting. Yes it can be pricey, but it is Beverly Hills and it is to Waldorf but the food in the service is worth it.
Came to this place on a whim off a friend's suggestion. I can tell you honestly right hand to the sky ✋? this place is top teir! not only are the prices reasonable, but the food is DELICIOUS! The ingredients they use are premium and the ambiance matches. This place is spacious and elegant and embraces that classy Beverly Hills Vibe. I was given no incentive to write this review just go see for yourself! The staff was incredible btw!! 10/10

Good place. Delicious food , nice service but… I needed to put a napkin to seat at this dirty sofa. You need to replace it or do dry cleaning.
It was dirty everywhere. I checked.

If you’re looking for elegance and delicious food, Espelette is the place. I had my birthday dinner here and the service was phenomenal. Servers, Roberto and Nick were welcoming and attentive. This spot is a hidden gem.

This place is a total hidden gem! If you're looking for cuisine that's going to knock your socks off- go here! Everything was prepared perfectly! Mixology was on point as well and the service is top notch! We had Nick as our server and he was delightful, charming and gave us great recommendations! 10 out of 10 would dine here again!
Always great breakfast. Love the American Breakfast in terms of quality and generous portion; ripe heirloom tomatoes and cucumber salad garnish, and fingerling potatoes. Efficient friendly service from the team.
I wish I remembered the name of my server because she was amazing! Her name starts with an “S”, ugh...can't believe I forgot it. She made my dining experience enjoyable. I thoroughly enjoyed everything I ordered, especially the dumplings and the green goddess mocktail. I give a 10/10. I'll go again when I'm in LA.
This is the restaurant on the bottom floor of the Waldorf Astoria hotel. The room is stunning and the food, presentation and service were all top notch. The price points were not outrageous for what we were served. We will go back in the future as we enjoyed our evening tremendously! Delicious artichoke, Hamachi, beef tartar, salmon with wild mushrooms in a white wine and butter sauce, ricotta raviolis were all delicious!
This is hands down one of the best restaurants in LA and I have been to many. The food is a true art, all ingredients are fresh and of the highest quality. The service is excellent and they have a music band that creates a lovely ambiance.
