Based on our schedule, New Years Eve was the only time we could make time for KBBQ while we were visiting LA. Genwa Beverly Hills had several availabilities that evening. The reviews seemed promising and the location was kiddie corner from our hotel (SLS Beverly Hills) so we walked to the end of our hotel, crossed the street and we were there. Service was friendly and efficient. The restaurant was busy but not packed. We ordered one of the "Courses" as a base, then added...

Amazing Korean food! The best banchan (side dishes), which in my opinion are the unsung heroes of Korean food. The sauces were all so delicious and dare I say… that they’re all made in house? A bit on the pricey side but you won’t regret it! Part of what makes it pricier is the high quality and quantity of banchan so don’t forget to ask for a refill (or two!)
