This restaurant and staff was absolutely amazing. I hosted a birthday brunch here with 40 people (with reservation), and they accommodated all of us. Chancey (I believe she's the manager?) helped me plan the entire thing, helped customize menus, printed individual menus, and the staff even decorated the room in my favorite color, with balloons and all! I can't say anything better about this restaurant. It's a cozy, yet spacious place. The food was also wonderful, I wish I took pictures but I was so caught up in the fun I was having. The favorites of my party and I were the chicken and waffles, and the Shrimp PO boy. Also, all the food is priced very fairly! There were also $20 bottomless mimosas, which a lot of us partook in. Attached are pictures of the party decor and the wonderful restaurant! Thanks again Chancey and the Gourmando staff! Also notable to mention that they offer vegan and pescatarian options, which my party very much appreciated. They also took extra care to make sure to note the food allergies of those in my party that had them!

Ordered the green chile macaroni and cheese with black truffle breadcrumbs for delivery and it was a handful of bites wallowing in the bottom of the container without green chile or breadcrumbs. The cheese sauce was good, such as it is, but $15 for a small portion of noodles in cheese, and something that was in no way the item on the menu, made for a pretty garbage dinner.

We love this place. The happy hour menu rocks. I think I usually get one of each item on the list. The wines are so great too. More than anything... the atmosphere and service.

I came here by accident, passing by and was not disappointed it was phenomenal! Hostess Chancey was caring and attentive throughout.. owner Isaac is a consummate restaurateur who doesn't hesitate to give personal service. I was so impressed with the food the first time, I came back again the next day for dinner & had the short ribs. Wow.

Very big puzzle how this place is still in business. I am sure having a wine bar is the main reason. The menue promises farm to table. Not sure how far is this farm located, but the lettuce was wilted and the edges were literally brown. Octopus dish was splattered on the plate and for $20 one should expect something more substantial than two skinny overfried little tentacles. One star is for very nice busboy and coffee. It was good.

Excellent food--excellent service! Food is truly farm to table!

We came in right before happy hour was over around 545. we ordered a few happy hour items and some from regular menu. We were never offered any water We had to ask for it. We were never told what the specials were if they had any which they did. (I'll explain in a min) we were kind of on our own. Andrew was our server a younger nice guy. He wasn't rude just wasn't very attentive or seem to be interested in really explaining anything to us. There was a couple seating near us (Myself, my husband and my 3 year old son) when we arrived. I'll also explain why I mentioned them as well in a bit. Anyway. Our cocktails were from the HH Menu and they were quite good. My son enjoyed his Shirley temple as well. We ordered two sliders and some fries for my son they were also on HH menu. My son was never given any kids crayons or anything kiddush that the restaurants normally give however when another group of people came in that who two kids with them were offered different kinds of things for the kids to fiddle and play with. My husband and I found that interesting... yes my tiddler had his iPad with him but it's never stopped any other restaurant for offering our child the same they offer to any other guests. I wanted to order the Lobster as my main dish but it was on the "teaser" side so when be beckoned Andrew over to ask him how small it was he indeed told us it was small portion and only as a appetizer. So my husband ordered that for for me and a entree. We later heard the other waitress tell the other table with the kids that the chef ‍ was offering the lobster roll as main dish with more lobster on a roll with just a small upcharge.. we also found that to be interesting because we were never told that even when we asked. The lobster roll was delightful I just wish we would have been told the same thing and I wouldn't have order the steak entree that was not very appetizing. I ordered it medium rare and it came back pretty much medium well. my son's sliders were okay and his fries were good. My husband got the Chauncey chicken with risotto cuss our son loves risotto. He said it was okay as well. Service was lack luster at best, food was mediocre and well felt snubbed. I over heard the man asking the couple next To us how their food was. His response was the octopus had no flavor and his and his steak Was not prepared the way that he wanted it prepared. Same as me. We spent almost $200 bucks for our meal and not be treated that great 2/5 do not recommend

Gourmando gives you a full eating experience from food, ambiance, and hospitality! The chef owns the place and always delivers flavorful and mouthwatering delicacies ‍ I started coming here about a year ago and it is one of the best brunch places on the west side AND best spot for dinner with a loved one! One of the most enticing aspects of this place is Chancey! She is one of the most loving, friendly, and humorous person I ever met! She makes the place feel like home! Love Gourmando!

I am happy to say that the food at Gourmando is as good as when it was Prospect Goumand on La Cienega Blvd. They have a large outdoor seating area with comfortable chairs. The hamburger is wonderful and have fries cooked to perfection. My wife had 3 different types of tacos and enjoyed them all. Abby, our server took very good care of us.

A nice, relaxing, cute place to have an outdoor brunch. The service staff is amazing, hostess is nice, waiters are very social and the owner is a delight. She made sure we were treated with the upmost care. She engaged in conversation with us and it seemed so organic. You can tell she takes great pride in her establishment. She recommended the country fried steak for me (which was off menu) and it was delicious. My friend had the Eggs Benny and those eggs are delicious! She didn't lie when she said it would be one of the best Eggs Benny we would have. The mimosas are a delight and you can tell they don't skimp on the champagne. Prices are good and there's parking. I'll definitely come here again. Just in case you're wondering they are pet friendly. My dog relaxed outside.

This was a completely surprise find. Chancey was completely charming and hilarious, and made the rest recommendations on the menu. The atmosphere was inviting. The food was spectacularly delicious. Will return here. So happy we kept passing it on a walk and finally decided to eat there. So worth it.
