Guisasos is an LA institution that has maintained quality and consistensy over the 10+ years I've eaten their superb food even after multiple expansions. Flawless braised taco fillings, topped with a delicious dollops of sauce that are meant to complement the flavor as well as the color of the main ingredient. Thoughtful vegan and vegetarian options as well as meat heavy tacos. Handmade corn tortillas perfect sized. Tamales are awesome too. Of note, no bathroom and the lot is a paid lot however i have never seen enforcement so we always just take the chance.

The tacos are served wet on handmade corn tortillas. Papas con chorizo taco was amazing too, as was the chorizo quesadilla. Each serving is just 1 taco. When I season, the pumpkin horchata is excellent.
