The food was very good ... I had a flight of wine, which was expensive but interesting. I would say its prices are average for L.A.

We were visiting from out of town and Evan K was our server. He was so sweet and amazing and made us feel so welcomed. Everything was so good. We got the spicy fusilli and the pepperoni pizza, the cacio e pepe and the garlic bread and the gem lettuce salad. It was soooo yum. Please ask for EVAN K if you want amazing service he is THE BEST!!!!!

I went to have dinner with my hubby last night and wanted to try this place for the first time and let me say our server Melissa made our experience 10000 times better. She was very knowledgeable on the menu and answered every questions we had. She recommended a couple of her favorite dishes we went with the mushroom pizza and it was very delicious. If you're looking to have dinner here ask for Melissa She's really the best.

I’ve been a fan of John & Vinny’s in the past, especially for their pesto, which used to be incredibly flavorful and well-balanced. Unfortunately, my recent visit with my girlfriend was a major letdown.

We both ordered the pesto again, hoping to relive that great experience from a while ago, but it was nothing like we remembered. The dish was overly oily and lacked the rich, fresh flavor that made it special in the first place. It felt like a completely different recipe.

The service was, frankly, disappointing. It became clear that unless you’re dressed a certain way or look like you “fit” the Beverly Hills mold, you’re not a priority. We were seated outside, and it felt like we were forgotten about — long waits for basic things, indifferent staff, and zero effort to make us feel welcomed. The vibe was more pretentious than professional.

And then there’s the $2.50 charge for a tiny portion of Parmesan cheese. I understand the location and the upscale clientele, but that just feels absurd and out of touch, especially when the food quality isn’t backing it up anymore.

Overall, it’s sad to see a place that used to be genuinely good become more focused on image and pricing gimmicks than actual food and hospitality. We won’t be going back.

Not sure why this place doesn’t have a higher rating. The food is SO good. The Cacio e Pepe really hits the spot. Service was good, felt a bit rushed but I think they are just efficient.

Kid friendly. They have a changing table in the bathroom. And they give coloring pencils out.

omg this was so good.
Service was fantastic, great wine and the burrata and pasta did not disappoint. The chilli vodka pasta was perfect, not very spicy but just delicious. Highly recommend

I dont know why this place has a low rating! It is so good every time. They know how to make an amazing pizza.

Hostess was nice but our waiter (Daniel?) was not. It wasn't busy but he rushed us anyway. We asked one question which he half answered and took our menus literally out of our hands. We had not finished deciding if we wanted to add appetizers but I guess he decided that for us. He never checked on us after that but came by the minute I set my cutlery down to clear my plate, placemat and all before anyone else finished. My plate was small and I was still hungry but there was no chance to order anything else. One of us had also asked about side options and all he said was it's a la carte you don't get one. They wanted to add one but he walked off. Dessert was never mentioned. We had at least wanted to look at the dessert options. We also wanted 3 boxes of the pancake mix to take home but didn't even try as we were already given the bill. The food we did have was ok but not amazing at all. When we were just first looking at the bill he just stood there to make us pay. He wanted us to leave and we were more than happy to.

The Gem salad , Roasted chicken and the Bread pudding is one the best you can get in LA . Best of beverly hills for normal people.

The only thing better than the energy here is the food. Pizza’s are phenomenal. Every dish is a hit

My friend and I went on Saturday to celebrate Women’s Day and left extremely disappointed. Instead of receiving a kind and discreet warning that the restaurant supposedly needed our table at 9:45pm and that we needed to leave, the “manager” came to our table to abruptly interrupt our dinner to hand over our check. May I add she practically yelled at us while pretty much kicking us out, to the point where the neighboring tables turned around to look at us as if we had done something wrong. As paying customers, I believe this could’ve been handled much better. I asked to speak with the manager to provide constructive criticism about the matter and her reply instead of apologizing was that “I really do speak this loud.” Completely unacceptable. Someone with customer service skills should hold the title of “manager” not someone like her.
