Worst lunch experience of my life. Waited 30 min. after paying to be served cold food scooped out of a metal trough. Service staff was completely indignant when asked to warm up the plate, claiming that patrons must ask in advance for warm meals (which is a lie because the guy in front of me got a hot meal by default). I could understand this level of service in Riverside, CA (at half the price) but in Beverly Hills I have a bit higher expectations. The owner and management should be embarrassed!

Probably one of the most bomb avocado toast I've had. The burrata and sourdough is SO SO GOOD. Def a must get! The cookie is also pretty solid. The salads are fine.. nothing exciting.

Upset when I found out that larder on burton closed. I found my way to the new location on maple drive. So I can enjoy the olive bread and the avocado open sandwich with some coffee. THE SERVICE AND THE PLACE IS REALLY GREAT.

I spent $23.00 on orange juice and avocado toast. A thank you after my purchase goes a long way. I stood here and 10 minutes for my food they said thank you to no one. Have a good is not thank you. Seeing someone off is not the same as being grateful.

One of the best breakfasts I've ever had. Side oder of potatoes and Avocado Toast. I got it two days in a row. On the second day everyone I was working with ate it as well. We all loved it. It's in the courtyard of an office building. Nice courtyard patio as well. Hidden gem.

I grabbed a juice from the fridge, and guessed it would be max $6. I also ordered the macaroni salad and some chicken. When I checked out, my order was $26.00, which is absurd given how little food I ordered. When I asked for a copy of my receipt, I was told "The reason your meal was so expensive is because the juice is $10.25". I'm baffled why no one warned me about this, and why there was no listed price for the juice. Rather than make a scene (the cashier was already rushing to check out the next person in line), I decided to take my meal outside. The next shock came when I took my first bite of the macaroni salad, which was overwhelmingly spicy. NO ONE at the restaurant warned me how spicy the food was going to be...even the other people who were with me complained about it. I ended up having to throw it out. Maybe if The Larder spent less money on the absurd costumes they make their employees wear, they would be able to charge reasonable amounts for their food.

I absolutely love The Larder at Maple Drive, and the reason for that is the amazing people who work there. The entire team is SO nice, and when you're at work on a Monday morning in dire need of caffeine, that really helps. Yes, food and drinks are pricey, but you're in the middle of Beverly Hills so I'm not sure why you'd expect a bargain... Overall The Larder has the best staff ever and everything is delicious.
