I've been going to Lawry's since I was a teenager and they never fail to impress. The prime rib is their signature dish and the portions are generous. We also had the lobster tails that night and they were excellent. Will be going again soon!
We had a great anniversary celebration. Great food and wonderful customer service like always
The service was a little slow. I notice the plate of salad has been reduced in size. The Prime Rib was delicious.
Been coming here many many years, especially on November 19 as it is a special day for me and my wife. We attended last night with two friends that also were celebrating an anniversary and I was very surprised that the very very poor service we received the food was excellent. The ambience was excellent, but the service was just terrible. Makes me think twice about coming back, but I know that everyone has a bad night but they really had a really really bad night.
We received attentive professional service from Clare and Mark. Our orders of classic cuts of prime rib from the master carver were just as we always experienced from previous dinners at Lawry's. We saw some new entree offering on the menu. I ordered the Branzino for a change and enjoyed the flavor. Of course the warm chocolate cake à la mode is always a decadent finish to fine dining.
The staff always kills it. From the moment you enter to the moment you leave everybody is always on point and on top of it. Nice touch that they wished my son happy birthday as we walked in. Big shout out all around.
Our Lawry's experience didn't disappoint! Our server Michael served us as though we were family. He was efficient, engaging and attentive.
We have been coming to Lawry's for over 40 years. We come every Christmas. But on this occasion, something has changed. Perhaps new management? But, what used to be a warm, family like experience, became more of a regular, commercial establishment, less warm and friendly and more efficient and cold. The biggest change was the slicing of your prime rib by the chef in those rolling carts. The chef used to be introduced and it was then that your selection was made the the chef sliced your prime rib. We all got to watch and it was wonderful. This time, the chef never really looked at us, already having our selection and he cut it with his back to the table and we really didn't see anything. Even the baked potato used to have a little show with the waitress asking what we wanted, but not this time. It was just prepared from the order and given. The food was great as always, but I felt a little cheated to the great show of introducing the chef and the slicing of the meat. Everything else was great!
We had dinner at the bar. Bartender did not know where the oysters were from when we asked - and then actually asked us why that matters. We explained that oysters are different in size and taste etc depending on where they are from. Bartender asked the other bartender if they knew where the oysters are from. The other bartender did not, but asked the kitchen. The kitchen said the oysters “are from Canada”. Against our better judgement we got the Canadian oysters. They were pre-shucked Canadian oysters, probably a few hours before they were served based on how they appeared air dried. Otherwise they were fine Canadian oysters. The famous salad was just sad. So sad. The prime rib was decent but I will say the gravy was good and so was the yorkshire pudding. I really liked the pudding, but the entire time we were left wondering why we were eating there when the staff knew so little about what they were serving us. Oh - almost forgot that I asked if they could recommend a light red wine, and bartender #2 said “what do you mean by light? We have non-alcoholic red if you want but it tastes terrible”. I had the pinot noir. It was fine... but not Canadian.
Prime Rib, Creamed Spinach, everything was fantastic. A little pricey, but worth it. Service was wonderful.

My bf took me here for my birthday. The food was exceptional and loved the presentation. We had a bottle of the pessimist wine and we both ordered the prime rib dinner with creamed spinach and corn as it came with two sides as well as mashed potatoes and a house salad. The meat was so tender and flavorful. We also got the fried onions which were delicious and way more than expected. The servers were attentive and made sure we had an amazing meal. Definitely be back.

As senior citizens we had a 4pm reservation which worked for us. Quick seating. Lawrys was beautiful and quiet. The food was delicious. Paola was very nice and attentive. We will definitely do this again.
I've been coming here since I was 15yrs old and now I am in my early 40's and it's still Lawry's!
The staff were amazing but the prime rib had too much fat on it. I had more fat than meat. Also, they should bring the meatballs back for guests while thy are waiting.
The staff was wonderful, as always. I was disappointed with the prime rib this time. It was chewy and was not cooked the way I asked (medium). It was closer to rare.
