My friends and I stopped by Leora for lunch and to finish up some work. The food was genuinely good, but I’m writing this review to share our experience with the manager/owner, Laura. While we were seated, she informed us that laptops are not allowed between 12–2pm because it supposedly upsets other customers. While we understand if that’s the policy, there were no signs or notices anywhere to communicate this in advance, which would have helped set expectations.
What made the experience very disappointing was the way this message was delivered. Later, one of my friends briefly opened their laptop (for less than a minute), and Laura approached us again, this time with a negative tone. And even though we explained that this will take max a minute, she didn’t seem open to hearing us out. It felt more like a confrontation than a conversation, which really affected the overall vibe. Again, we didn't just buy coffee, each one of us was having lunch.
Creating a welcoming environment is such a basic part of hospitality, and unfortunately, Laura does not understand that. Her unwelcoming approach DOES NOT represent the Israeli culture.

Great atmosphere, good food but unfortunately there is this manager! that plays favorites for seating paying customers on the table. I went there today for lunch with my daughter stayed in-line for about 20 minutes by the time we were ready to order she asked us if we had a table which I told her no she forced us out of the line to go wait for a table which after another 15 minutes one table opens up which I was waiting for and all of sudden she shows up with a number and saying the table is reserved. Very unprofessional of her to treat customers like that specially after few minutes I saw her sitting at the same table with her lab top open and having a drink!
I don’t know what her position is with the restaurant but this person has never heard about how customer service is the most important in restaurant business. Just very disappointed

Wow the attitude of the server after my drink didn’t come out correctly. He basically threw it down on the table. Would not come again.

Lazy workers close early randomly when they feel like it
Best breakfast sandwich of my life. I'm not exaggerating. I also love their salads (sesame ginger salad is amazing!) and smoothies. Everything is delicious with the highest quality ingredients. The owners are really sweet and hospitable. They go above and beyond to take care of you. Highly recommend.
Kid-friendliness: Great vibes for kids. It's my son's happy place.

Leora Restaurant exceeded all my expectations. The food was absolutely amazing, with every dish bursting with flavor and beautifully presented. The ambiance was delightful, providing a perfect setting for a memorable meal. To top it all off, the chef graciously offered us a complimentary dish, adding a special touch to an already fantastic dining experience.
Highly recommended!???

LEORA is my new favorite restaurant in Los Angeles. They have everything you could possibly want in a restaurant. The food is delicious, made with the highest quality ingredients, staff is incredibly nice and wants you to have the best experience possible, food comes out perfectly and tastes even better than it looks, restaurant is clean & decorated very well. I will be back weekly and would definitely recommend trying cafe LEORA. Owner & chef Leeor was also incredible and made our experience even more enjoyable. This is the type of restaurant where everything is incredible and you can’t go wrong with any dish. Also- try their daily special as it is always incredible. A must try, could not have had a better experience.
Parking: Lots of parking- not an issue at all. We parked at the meter in front of Live Nation. Very easy.

The most delicious food— I could eat here every single day!!! Their all-day menu during the week has the best chicken pesto sandwich, balsamic chicken wrap, and chicken Caesar wrap! We tried their Sunday brunch (pictured) and it did not disappoint! Also, get the iced honey mango matcha latte… SO GOOD!
