My favorite sandwich shop in LA! Bread is on point - soft inside with just enough crisp on the outside. Even though it’s a $20, they don’t skimp on the toppings like some sandwich shops do.
Excellent menu options. Staff has always been friendly. Not much seating but there are a few tables inside as well as some sidewalk patio tables.

Salad was a literal afterthought. You would think that for $20 a salad wouldn’t be pre packaged. In a place like LA where there’s amazing salad, if you can’t provide a good one then just don’t offer it.
I had a fantastic experience with Lorenzo California, and I wanted to share. Cynthia, who I assume is the owner, handled my situation with remarkable professionalism and truly impressed me. It's usually difficult to especially in LA's competitive food scene, this was no small feat.
I reached out via email outside of regular hours, needing a last-minute catering order for a work event the next day before Noon. Cynthia promptly responded and managed my emergency request with impressive efficiency. I ordered food for 14 people, and Cynthia confirmed the details and pickup time by email that same night.
I was particularly impressed by her willingness to accommodate my request for each order to be labeled with the recipient's name—she did this without hesitation. When I arrived to pick up my order, everything was prepared on time and well-organized (she also counted the orders to confirm and had separated them). This excellent service made my job as an assistant much easier and prompted me to leave this review.

Love this place already! We tried the Tuna sandwich and the Cotto sandwich, both excellent, especially the tuna!
Great flavor and the bread was delicious too!
Can’t wait to go back and try more, like the meatball sando special!!!

I went to Lorenzo's Clofornia on Friday,,,the food was of high quality...you really get a different taste in Los Angeles...you are lucky to see the owners there...they work together sincerely. ..I really recommend going to this restaurant, the whole menu was excellent, we ordered Lorenzo's sandwich, special pasta and Gnocchi .excellent, excellent, each one was more delicious than the other... you will experience a friendly, stylish, and Italian place in the best area in Los Angeles

It’s really good with delicious food, specially pasta. I recommend it to every one, it worth to try one time and then you will get used to it. Additionally, the staff are very welcoming and friendly.

A stone's throw from Rodeo Drive we tried Lorenzo California's sandwiches. The place is very nice even if it's really small, with just a few tables inside. There is the possibility of sitting outside but due to the high summer temperatures, I do not recommend it. The products used are certainly Italian and of high quality and the prices are in line with other places of the same kind. If you can't finish your sandwich, you will be given a special box.

Lorenzo offers fantastic Italian inspired sandwiches, salads and small bites in a small cafe environment. Everything is extremely fresh and well made. The menu is concise but offers plenty to choose from. Meats and cheeses are all top notch. Service is fast and friendly. Prices are moderate to high but fair given the location and the incredible quality of ingredients.
There's not a lot of seating and the inside is a little cramped. It's popular and the cafe was already filled shortly after opening on a Sunday so take out might be a good backup plan.
Absolutely worth a visit and I definitely want to go back to try some of the other offerings.
Parking: Free street parking on Sundays. Otherwise paid metered street parking all other days of the week.
