The Penthouse at Mastro's

Food was good but, I had to wait 30 mins for someone to bring me a menu. Another 20 mins for someone to take my order and 35 mins for my food to arrive. I don’t mind waiting for food but, I was expecting faster service with taking orders. I rather go to Joey’s they treat me there better and the food is way more delicious.

Top tier as always! The server was super helpful and kind and the food was amazing. The electric violin was also a nice touch to our evening.

Exceptional overall...the rooftop experience is worthwhile. Great service and food and they celebrated our anniversary. I thought cost more than reasonable for what we received. Love the place, will return

Thank you for a good overall time with great steak in an elegant environment. I hope the piano music comes back some time soon.

Overall very disappointed in our experience for what was meant to be a special night. Food quality and service were both below expectations.

From start to finish, my experience was great! The doorman (security) was polite and professional, the host was kind and efficient, quickly checked me in and showed me the way to the elevator. The bartenders Jamie and I forgot the other guys name, were amazing with their energy and how they crafted our beverages! Our server Hannah was awesome as well. She had recommendations ready for us and gave her honest opinion based on what we told her we liked! Chloe, the manager, was a gem - professional, charming and ready to help when necessary! This was our one year friendniversary dinner and I'm so glad I chose this location to celebrate! Our food was delicious and so were our spirits! Cheers to the staff at The Penthouse at Mastro's, Beverly Hills. They didn't come to play!

Mastro's may be my favorite steakhouse. I've been to the Beverly Hills location multiple times, but this was my first dinner at the Penthouse. I'm not aware of any differences compared to the lower floors, although there were more menu items than I recall from previous visits, including several types of Wagyu, Kosher, Halal and Fiorentina steak selections. Mastro's has always been about great service, and this visit was no exception. Our server, Amanda, was friendly and professional. As an added bonus, she is also a sommelier, and flawlessly handled service of a rare wine we brought. The bar also delivers generous and excellent cocktails, as always. We ended up ordering the 36-ounce Bistecca ala Fiorentina, which was ample for our party of 4 and a perfect medium rare. Combined with a hamachi appetizer, salads and several side dishes, we had more than enough for everybody. Everything was excellently prepared using the finest ingredients. Lobster mashed potatoes remains the quintessence of decadence. We were there for 2 special occasions, and they comped us not one, but TWO desserts, complete with candles. We've been to both the Beverly Hills and Palm Desert locations in the past year, and I'm convinced they're a cut above the Mastro Ocean Houses in Malibu and Newport Beach.

We dined at Mastros for our 55 anniversary and were treated very well Window seating complementary desert excellent service. We are repeat customers and will continue to make this a favorite restaurant.

We came at 530pm for a social hour which was listed on the website but the bartenders said there was no social hour from 4-6pm. And also the general manager said the same thing we drove about 30 min to get there
