CLOSED. Ignore what Google's times & hours say for Oliver Cafe. They are temporarily and possibly permanently CLOSED and have been for over a year now. You cannot go here; do not try - you'll get charged ungodly parking fees, as you have no Oliver's to validate, and everywhere else around is even more expensive.TL;DR - Oliver Cafe / Lounge is CLOSED for business.

Me and my husband had a terrible experience here. We were in town for a very important doctors appointment and needed to grab a quick lunch. We were seated rather quickly on the outdoor patio and were given water and a menu which was very nice. We figured out what we wanted to order and closed the menus. As we were waiting for our waiter to return a lady was seated next to us and was very rude, demanding to know what the specials were. The waiter told her to please wait while he gave another table their food. He returned to her immediately after and gave her the menu and a list of specials (we hadn't even heard the specials yet). She then proceeded to place her order before us as well and told him to make it a rush as she has an important meeting to attend. The waiter turned back to us to take our order and apologized to us. We warned the waiter that we ALSO had and important appointment and had 1 hour before we had to leave. He said he would "take care of us - not to worry". We ordered a simple salad and a taco. Our cocktails arrived quickly and were very good. Within 10 minutes the lady next to us had her chicken MEAL delivered to her table. I was furious that her meal arrived before my measly salad. I continued to patiently wait for our order. We waited 45 minutes and finally decided we had to leave without lunch to make it to our doctors office in time. I walked over to the waiter and told them we have to go and let them know how disappointed we were that the rude lady got her huge dinner before our quick lunches. They offered to box up our food. We agreed. They gave us a small discount but not nearly enough. We put the food in our car and went into our doctors appointment. After 1 hour we returned to our car STARVING and the entire car smelled like a garbage can. The stench alone made me loose my appetite. I peeked into the box for my salad and they had already mixed the dressing with the lettuce/kale. It was soggy and disgusting - inedible. We had to throw both meals away after paying for these. I tried calling management the next day and they told me no managers were on duty. Seriously? A restaurant in Beverly Hills has NO MANAGERS on duty (hard to believe)? The lady on the phone said she would have him call me back as soon as possible. Guess what? To this day, no phone call from Mr. Manager... We will not be returning and do not recommend this place to any friends. Thanks for nothing.

Time for this dated cafe to be replaced with a new concept. Menu hasn't changed in at least 10 years Food used to be great not any longer. I had a poor experience there before but decided to keep an open mind and give it another try. It's gone downhill even further. The shrimp on sale was soggy and overdone at the same time. How does one do that??? When I asked the waiter to remake it please. The owner came out to tell me, wait for it, that I am the problem not the salad and refused to remake it. I have eaten in finest restaurants all over the world and has never experienced such vile and grotesque reaction. Why such entitlement and rude answer? Restaurant is empty and no one likes it anymore. I'm not a tourist. I live and work here, work out in the building and demand respect and courtesy.

I ordered the Sea Farm Atlantic Salmon Tarragon to go. The fish was cooked well but the dish altogether was mediocre. Definitely did not look as good in the pictures as it tasted. Given that they just boiled some rice and steam some veggies to complete the meal, they should have provided more sauce to make the whole thing more flavorful. Should not have paid $18+ for something I could have easily whipped up in my own kitchen.
The food was incredible! So flavorful and fresh. The patio was the perfect spot for a late lunch and our waitress was so friendly. A hidden gem in Beverly Hills.
