Why 3 stars?
Well, first I paid $12 for a chocolate eclair. I asked why he is so expensive and was told that because the ingredients are super ingredients coming from France. Makes sense to me.
So I bite into it.
Hum. Sweet. Chocolate taste. The pastry is light.
All of which are to be expected in an eclair.
Anything special? No.
Anything to write home about? No
So… for $12 it’s a disappointment.
No liqueur.

Pompadour is one of the best macaron shops in Los Angeles! All their macaron flavors are delicious, and each macaron is made fresh daily in-house. If you're in Beverly Hills, you haven't truly experienced an excellent macaron until you've tried Pompadour.

I have just visited the bakery last week and unexpectedly bought my mom's birthday cake after trying one of their small pastry. It became my favorite dessert place. They even gave me some treats (Lavender cake). If you are visiting Beverly hills this spot will be the best one to have some sweets!
