We had an amazing anniversary dinner at Spice. Kumar and everyone of the staff made it a wonderful experience!
Food a couple years ago was much better. Butter chicken was decent, dal makhni was aite. Desserts were wonderful!
The food lacks flavor , overpriced . Never heard of a cups of tea Cost $8 and it was not even fresh The final bill added 20% gratuity for two. Would not recommend wasting appreciative here when other better option's available
Awesome!! took a woman out on a date there and we had a great time, in the atmosphere was awesome.
Very good food, and a wide variety. Something for everyone. Service was very good. Ambiance was pleasant. Slightly overpriced, but the food was delicious and high quality
Food was great. Aviation cocktail was delicious. Server was very helpful with recommendations.
its one of the worst resturant in india
The Spice Affair has always been a go to place for consistently good India food. The atmosphere is very pleasant and certainly much more upscale than most local Indian restaurants, however that also goes for the prices. The portions are very fair and the service is very attentive and friendly. It has an extremely extensive menu so it should meet everyone's expectations for a meal that fits their tastes. I believe it will not disappoint.
Excellent food prepared by clearly skilled chefs; Lamb Kebab was more Shish than Galafi but delicious nevertheless. The dhal and breads were excellent.
Food is very expensive and portions are small although it was tasty. $8 for a tiny portion of white rice (which should have been included)! Service was mediocre considering it wasn't busy. We could hear annoying background live music (karaoke?) from a party in an adjoining room.
Restaurantji Recommends
The staff was incredibly friendly and went above and beyond to help me. It’s refreshing to see such dedication to customer service. Thank you for making my visit memorable! Highly recommend!

It is way too expensive for the quality of food and quantity. The restaurant is empty. I will not be going back. Beware, the tip was included in the total for 4 people. BS.
The best Indian restaurant I have visited, service, food and price

Our first time to an Indian Restaurant in Los Angeles - and it did not disappoint! Easy parking on street on Friday night and cherry on top - it was free.
Promptly greeted and taken to our reserved using Open Table! Keeping up with Beverly Hills upscale status, Spice Affair has great ambience and seating plan.
Navdeep was our server who was prompt, knew the menu well and recommended wisely. Service was fast and efficient. He not only made an effort to accommodate my request for Fried Papad. It was a test to see if they are willing to please their guests - 5*
Appetizers: we ordered Soup, Paneer Tikka and Chicken Tikka. Soup was blend - lacked carrot and basil as mentioned on the menu. Plating for Panner and Chicken could be more elegant and visually appealing. Taste was good and was melt in the mouth!
Main course: We ordered Kadhai Paneer and Malai Kofta. My take on Kadhai Panner is that it was nice however, a bit sour for my taste and tad bit spicy for my wife even when we requested Medium. My wife found Koftas to stale and gravy excellent, I begged to differ!!! (A few daring things I do lol)
Dessert: Navdeep professionally did ask us if we wanted to see the dessert menu but we didn’t have any room left so politely declined. Decent choices as already having checked out in the beginning.
Note: this place charges 20% gratuity for 4+ guests
- a bit extra if I am being honest. We were 3 but we were still charged 20% which when I brought to his attention was promptly taken off! I would recommend please check your bills!
Also slightly on the higher side - specially when we convert CAD to USD!
Overall, yes it’s a good portions and great place to visit if in LA, Madhuri and Anupam Kher have also dinned here.
My advice to management: keep up the good work, be more creative on plating and spice level to be adjusted!
