Good as always, friendly staff and pleasant atmosphere. No surprises.
This Starbucks location has a toxic work environment due to blatant favoritism and nepotism. The store manager, Blanche, and one of the shift supervisors, Jasmine, are cousins, which creates an unfair dynamic within the team.
Jasmine, the shift supervisor, is often rude and unprofessional toward both staff and customers. She has been overheard telling other baristas, ‘I can get you fired,’ which adds to the hostile atmosphere. Instead of addressing these issues, Blanche, the store manager, covers for Jasmine and enables this behavior.
To make matters worse, the district manager, Megan, is aware of this conflict of interest but seems to favor Blanche and Jasmine as well. This lack of accountability at all levels of management negatively impacts team morale and the customer experience. I hope corporate leadership takes note and steps in to create a healthier and more professional environment for everyone.
