Good quality sushi at exceptionally fair prices. The service was a bit slow and inattentive at times, but generally friendly. Vibe is hip but too dimly lit for my taste. Also, I hate that Sugarfish doesn't serve miso soup!

If you are looking for exceptionally fresh fish, refined menu, warm rice and also seaweed rolls that are crispy to the mouth. This is simply magnificent.

we went here for a quick lunch and absolutely loved it. the prices are so affordable for a good course of sushi with different varieties to try. i had the 8 piece cucumber roll and the waiter gave us a refill on the drink as well! 10/10!

Visiting all the way from Toronto, and dining at Sugar Fish was definitely on my ‘must try’ list. Our server Robert was absolutely amazing and gave great recommendations to my party of 4. He recommended the “Don’t Think, Just Eat” menu and the “Trust Me” menu; and they did not disappoint. The sushi was fresh and came out at a very timely manner. Thank you to the staff at Sugar Fish and cheers to Robert for being a great host. We will definitely be returning.

I don’t like atmosphere and prices.

Hello, shouldn’t your working waiters take care of those who come to pick up the package, not only for the inside? I think you need to train your waiters on this subject. It is very disgusting to keep them waiting for 25 minutes even though the packages are ready, it is very disgusting that they only take care of the people inside. Do I have to treat your waiters in a disgusting way when I make a reservation and come here to dinner one day? To understand the drivers who wait for hours outside?

Way too much sauce, it masks the true taste of the fish.
Wouldn't consider it authentic.

The food here is okay, and I’d give it 4 stars. However, the service was quite disappointing. The staff’s communication felt unfriendly and impolite. For instance, when I asked for wasabi, I was told, “The chef doesn’t approve it,” and when I requested to have my sake bottle placed on my table, I received the same curt response. A little more politeness and thoughtfulness in how they communicate would go a long way. For a meal costing over $300, I expected a better service. Unfortunately, this experience has left me with no desire to return.

Not the best we had. Wasn’t really bad but not good as well. The rice of the nigiri was falling out of eachother even before we grabbed it.

Best experience at SUGARFISH.
Currently wishing I didn’t live in Arizona, so that I could easily grab a bite from there now! I was visiting LA for PIlates training and made it a mission to find the best sushi and
this was top of the list. From the person who greeted me at the front, to the amazing staff Gabby and Michael, they made me feel welcomed and not so alone even though I was a party of one. The restaurant manager David, was very kind and made sure to check in once I had my food to ensure all was well. The entire team, atmosphere and food was 10/10! Can’t wait to go back.

Somehow they turn the regular into something special without the huge price tag.
