Very expensive restaurant.
This was always our go to place, but it seemed to have deteriorated during Covid. But the greatness is back and it's now once again our favorite Omakase in LA.
Just did a pickup order. Spent $70. Got 3 rolls. 3 orders of sushi. 2 miso soups. They wouldn’t give me more than one ponzu and one spicy mayo.
The Japanese Omakase menu was insane!! My fiancé and I loved every dish that was expertly prepared right in front of us. Definitely will be making our way back next month because it is a little pricey but worth it.
The omakase here is next level and so delicious. It's a journey from start to finish seasonal and fresh. I have been a fan for over 20 years in LA.
Really enjoyed their omakase! I couldn’t believe how much they gave, I was very satisfied and the fish was so fresh. The restaurant was casual but also nice and welcoming.

Went here for a birthday dinner in 2022 and got the Japanese omakase course for $170pp at table service. Was not a great experience at all, service just dropped off the pieces as chef made it without explanation sometimes and the pieces sometimes lacked flavor/tasted still frozenGo somewhere else and have your money better spent

Best sushi in LA but a tad bit overpriced. We paid $250 plus 20% top for 2 of us. We ordered the set course which was around $110 each and one glass of Sake. The food was amazing. Service was great. This was our second time with my wife for date night.

One of the best sushi restaurants in Los Angeles, which makes it one of the best in America. The chefs are true artists of their craft and it is a pleasure to watch them as they create each masterpiece.
I enjoyed the food here but the service was extremely rushed and quick that I felt uncomfortable. I did not have time to blink between courses! As the server had already come very quickly and put the next course down in front of me right after I had taken my last bite of the previous one. This spoiled the experience for me and made me feel annoyed. I had the lunch Omakase. I asked the server to please slow down.. And describing what the dishes are that was also too quick and rushed, not clear. I did not tip for this reason. Also I am not a big fan of wasabi but there was no choice to remove it as it was already in every dish. Possibly my fault for not stating this. However please give the diner the choice of adding it or not. I wouldn't return despite thinking it was quite a tasty lunch with a good level Omakase.
Quite possibly the best sushi place I've eaten at anywhere in the world, including multiple Nobu restaurants and a few very highly priced and exclusive Tokyo sushi places. I have no idea what their secret is, but everything they serve is world class. Even their miso soup, edamame, and green tea ice-cream send one's palate into raptures of ecstasy! I've taken, and recommended, this well hidden gem to dozens of people. Almost without exception, they have raved about it and become regulars. It's fun to see the animated enthusiasm even among reserved, non-expressive introverts or those with exceptionally high standards who know what outstanding sushi is all about. Fingers crossed that reviews like this don't prevent me from getting future reservations at my absolute favourite sushi restaurant on the planet!
I own a Pilates studio nearby on Robertson (Pilates Body Beverly Hills) and I have been here several times for dinner after work. I love the sushi here! It is fun to sit at the bar and watch them prepare the sushi and they have an excellent omakase menu too. Highly recommend!
