One of the best sushi restaurants in Los Angeles, which makes it one of the best in America. The chefs are true artists of their craft and it is a pleasure to watch them as they create each masterpiece.

I enjoyed the food here but the service was extremely rushed and quick that I felt uncomfortable. I did not have time to blink between courses! As the server had already come very quickly and put the next course down in front of me right after I had taken my last bite of the previous one. This spoiled the experience for me and made me feel annoyed. I had the lunch Omakase. I asked the server to please slow down.. And describing what the dishes are that was also too quick and rushed, not clear. I did not tip for this reason. Also I am not a big fan of wasabi but there was no choice to remove it as it was already in every dish. Possibly my fault for not stating this. However please give the diner the choice of adding it or not. I wouldn't return despite thinking it was quite a tasty lunch with a good level Omakase.

Quite possibly the best sushi place I've eaten at anywhere in the world, including multiple Nobu restaurants and a few very highly priced and exclusive Tokyo sushi places. I have no idea what their secret is, but everything they serve is world class. Even their miso soup, edamame, and green tea ice-cream send one's palate into raptures of ecstasy! I've taken, and recommended, this well hidden gem to dozens of people. Almost without exception, they have raved about it and become regulars. It's fun to see the animated enthusiasm even among reserved, non-expressive introverts or those with exceptionally high standards who know what outstanding sushi is all about. Fingers crossed that reviews like this don't prevent me from getting future reservations at my absolute favourite sushi restaurant on the planet!

I own a Pilates studio nearby on Robertson (Pilates Body Beverly Hills) and I have been here several times for dinner after work. I love the sushi here! It is fun to sit at the bar and watch them prepare the sushi and they have an excellent omakase menu too. Highly recommend!

BEST fresh fish and beautifully prepared raw seafood we've ever had, and we've had a lot! If you like Japanese sushi, nigiri and sashimi, then run to Sasabune Beverly Hills, don't walk.

It was a wonderful experience with excellent food and prompt service. The tuna bowls and salmon sushi were outstanding. The entire family from teenagers to octogenarians had a marvelous time

You had me at omakase! We both had the regular omakase and from the first bite to the last I was delighted with the freshness of the fish, the simplicity of the flavors and taste of each delicate bite. As each plate was placed on the table the waitress let us know what was being served, then if we should eat one or the other first and also if we should use soy sauce or not. Everything was fabulous but I will say my favorite was the tuna and the butterfish. The blue crab handroll at the end is given on my top of the list and great way to end the meal.Located in a small plaza with a small parking lot although we were able to find parking pretty easily. Ambiance is casual yet nice.

I was spending the week near Beverly Hills with my girlfriend when I had a sudden urge or need for really good sushi. I did a search and found this place that I've never been to nor had my girlfriend been to and we decided to go ahead and give it a shot. I have to tell you it was absolutely fantastic probably one of the best sushi in terms of food that I've ever had, they have the you know that style where they bring you the food and you don't really order they have that with traditional or they have Japanese style so you can be as adventurous as you want to be but the food by far is hands-down just absolutely fantastic

The rolls here, even though only 4 pieces for fresh fish rolls, are filled generously. They are very well made- rolled right, and the Maki is neatly presented. The fish is definitely fresh and you can taste the mix of green onion with the fish which adds an additional element and is a great complement. The service was fast and friendly.

Absolutely loved the lunch menu. It had great sushi options and you can also get rolls a la carte. The service was fast and very informative about each dish. The restaurant was also pretty quiet so you can have conversations. Can't wait to go back

Came here with some friends for omakase. It was pretty easy to get a reservation. Small parking lot but, we were able to find parking pretty easily. Our table was waiting for us and the servers worked well together to attend to our party. I enjoyed the regular omakase while other people in our group got Japanese omakase. Great place to have a conversation with a group of friends. We bought some champagne and while opening the bottle the waitress spilled some of the champagne. She apologized and brought us a small bottle of preseco. I thought that was a classy touch!

We absolutely enjoyed our experience. Our daughter's wish was to have omacase for her birthday dinner and she couldn't have been any happier. My husband and I loved every a la cart item we ordered as well. Thank you, chef Katoshi!
