Hideaway in Beverly Hills offers a very pleasant experience when it comes to the food, which was good and well prepared, and the location, which is beautiful, cozy, and intimate—perfect for a relaxed dinner.
Unfortunately, the service significantly affected our overall experience. We arrived at 9:45 PM, not by our own choice, but because OpenTable allows reservations up to that time. It is unreasonable to accept a reservation at 9:45 PM and then treat guests in a rushed and uncomfortable manner.
Before even arriving, we were called and told that the last order was at 9:45 PM and that we needed to hurry. Once we arrived, before being seated, the waitress Bree again informed us that the last order was at 9:45 PM and that they were making an “exception” just for us. As soon as we sat down, this was reiterated once more, pressuring us to order quickly.
The situation reached its peak when we were brought the check while we were still eating, with food literally in our mouths, and were asked to pay.
This felt extremely disrespectful.
At this point, it would be far more appropriate not to seat guests at that time or to remove the option to book a table at 9:45 PM altogether. If a restaurant accepts a reservation, it should provide proper service and not make guests feel like an inconvenience.

We walked in shortly after 10. There was a dozen people that we could see drinking or eating. Nobody would serve us. Then we were told they were closed at 10pm, but their website and Google both clearly stated open until midnight. Wasting our night getting ready and driving in, and we had to walk out past the people who got to still eat and drink there despite them being 'closed'. Pretty awful management of either closing early or not correctly listing the times of business on their website.

I recommend anyone to check out this spot in Beverly Hills it has kind of a unique feel to it, I ordered the Crispy Artichoke Hearts with Lemon Aioli and the empanadas as a starter, and they were addictive, the dipping sauce was excellent as far as the entree the Wild Mushroom Risotto was creamy and perfectly seasoned, one of the best versions I’ve had in a while, the service is OK, friendly, sometimes can do better when it gets more busy during brunch The ambiance is what you hope for in Beverly Hills, warm lighting, comfortable seating, a lively yet relaxed vibe.

We found this hidden gem by accident and I just loved the atmosphere. Beautiful decoration and cozy feeling. The only ordered cake and tea, which was nice. I would definitely recommend this place for the vibe.

The food was delicious as always! I dine here often & it's usually a great experience. Our waitress was incredibly sweet too. However, it was freezing in the dining area, even though we were seated right next to the fireplace. The overhead heaters were completely off, which didn't make much sense given how cold it was. It was my good friend's birthday dinner & her first time in Beverly Hills, so I chose The Hideaway hoping it would be the perfect spot. The atmosphere is always a vibe, but the temperature made it hard to fully enjoy the night. I just wish it had been warmer so the experience could have matched the amazing food and service.
Staff truly great.
Great authentic food with a great vibe and great drinks, great place to visit if you are in the centre of Beverly Hills!
