I’m celiac and was ecstatic about trying out their gf pastries. My friend and I had a wonderful time.Great service. ?Love this place and can’t wait to come back.

Service: 5

The service alone was worth the splurge. Every need was catered to. The food was very decadent. By the end of the meal, it was getting to be too rich for me to finish everything but glad I had left overs! The Big Sur tea was my favorite.

This was a truly exceptional experience. We were in BH for the day visiting and decided on a whim to have tea. Our service staff Daniel and Patricia went above and beyond as hosts to make us feel welcome. The food and tea were both spectacular! What a wonderful treat in Beverly Hills.

This is the best tea in Los Angeles. Thank you to our wonderful server, hostess and manager. Seasonal desserts are always a delight. Server was so knowledgeable and kind. Thank you for helping to celebrate the birthday of my sister in law.

Highly recommend tea!!!!!Went to tea service for my birthday and it was wonderful! The music of the harp in the background set a majestic backdrop to the beautiful room and china setup. Then, the service was terrific and accommodating. The tea and food were fabulous. We had special food request and they didn’t blink an eye and we loved the food!If I were to make one suggestion it would be to have a tea sampling maybe mini tea cups where if you want you can pick three teas to sample but really just a small suggestions as overall I would come every celebration for tea at The Peninsula

The scones were almost half the size they used to be, the portions were smaller, and the gluten free options were not that tasty. For the price, we did not feel the food was up to the proper standard. That being said, the service was impeccable, the harp player was so talented and the music was serene. The staff was so friendly and helpful that it made the experience very memorable.

Beautiful atmosphere quality food service wonderful with Carlos....However be ready to pay at least $250 -270 per couple not including tax or gratuity. If you want an extra glass of champagne it's an additional $30. I ended up paying around $380 for a tea luncheon when I could have gone elsewhere and spend a lot less for a wonderful dinner for two but it was a nice afternoon and a birthday lunch for my friend.

We've been coming here every year since our daughter was born for a Valentines family treat. They do a fantastic gluten free high tea and just seem to get better every year. Kiddo is 12 now and it's a hilight of our holiday traditions.

The customer service is exceptional!! My lord! The hostess, the waiters, incredible. Also, shout out to a very special man. His name is Carlos. He took very good care of us. We were there to celebrate a reunion between my childhood friend and I. Carlos, at the end of the evening, told us about his childhood friend and let us know to always love one another. I could have cried. You could look into his eyes and feel thoughtfulness he has. What a warm spirit that we were so thankful to connect with. Over all, great experience and we are excited to visit again.

Overall absolutely great. The food was delicious and fresh. The chef even prepared special sandwiches to accommodate a special diet. The tea was refilled as soon as our cups were getting low and the staff were very friendly. My one frustration was the sense that we were being moved along to be done by next seating. The tiered tray of food was brought before we had time to even begin our fruit appetizer and the lovely birthday cake they thoughtfully included was served with a song while we were still eating our sandwiches. The experience was still lovely and enjoyable and the environment gracious and I will definitely return, I just wish there was more time between seatings.

Fabulous gorgeous delicious tea and ambiance. Didn't want to leave! Servers need to speak more quietly with each other behind the screen near the piano when guests are still dining.

Came for some fancy afternoon tea at The Peninsula in Beverly Hills. There were some pretty holiday decorations and a harpist playing when we went. Easy metered parking, but they do validate valet for convenience. The ambiance was impeccable, with stylish yet cozy decor, plush couches, and matching tea sets. Great service with knowledgeable and helpful staff. Beautifully plated sweets and savory treats. All expected for the price point. The scones are buttery and delicious when warm. There’s a diverse tea selection to choose from. Sandwiches are all pretty good, though some of the sweets were just too sweet. There is plenty to eat and sip during your 2 hour reservation, leftovers are packed very well. If you want to indulge in an elevated experience, The Living Room is a good choice.

The best afternoon tea in Los Angeles. Food is inventive and delicious, service is top notch as you would expect from The Peninsula. A great special occasion place for birthdays, showers, or in our case, a special reunion.

My friend and I hadn't been to tea in many years. I took her there for her milestone Birthday and it was as FABULOUS as it was 20 years ago. It was just SUPERB. Our Server, ERIC was absolutely OUTSTANDING,. He's personable, warm, efficient, attentive, but not overly so, and made our dining experience even BETTER than ever. We had an AMAZING time and may be coming back for my Birthday. THANK YOU VERY MUCH!

A beautiful High Tea experience in a gorgeous setting! The service and sandwiches were excellent! The desserts weren't as fabulous as I'd hope but the presentation and ambiance made up for it . Highly recommend for a special experience!
