I had a superb stay at The Maybourne, a beautiful property with phenomenal service. I asked prior to check-in to be on a high floor, and Ozzy at reception made that happen. The room was gorgeous and had a balcony; I loved leaving the door open to let the fresh air in. The bed was extremely comfortable, and the bathroom was huge. The housekeeping staff was amazing; they noticed I was almost out of toothpaste and so they left me a travel-size tube of nice toothpaste. The pastries and beverage at the cafe are top-notch. I also ordered room service, and the burger and fries were superb. The location, in the heart of Beverly Hills, can’t be beat.

My recommendations for possible improvements:

1. Get your elevator situation fixed. (There were a few periods when they weren't working during my stay.)

2. Have more highly visible, easily accessible electrical outlets at the desk.

3. Have the pool—which is gorgeous and kept at a great temperature—open for longer hours. (I believe it opened at 10 a.m. when I was there, which means you can't do an early-morning swim.)

4. Leave the free coffee out in the lobby for longer.

5. For the cafe, offer to warm pastries when taken to go.

These are minor quibbles. The Maybourne is wonderful, and I would love to visit again!

If you’re looking for a posh place, this is it. The service is always top notch and the hotel is beautiful. Not really a good place to work but there are tons of cafes close by. Check out the rooftop (Dante’s) for drinks and food with a beautiful view.

The service and staff here are impeccable -- you will not be disappointed. Special shout-out to Yoshi at the front desk for helping me extend my stay for an extra night for a conference held at the hotel -- he went above-and-beyond, promote him. I hope to return to the Maybourne!

A perfect stay!! Celebrating my husband’s 60th! From the time we arrived, the service and attention to detail was impeccable! The entire staff was so welcoming and went out of their way to make sure my husband was enjoying his birthday celebration. It was our first stay at the Maybourne. It will be the only place we stay from now on. Thank you so much to the entire staff for making our stay so special.

My recent stay from Fri, Sept 6 thru Mon, Sept 9th was nothing short of fantastic & fabulous. The hotel was recently renovated, and the decor reflects that. Everything from the service to the food to the location is second to none. I request a bidet attachment in any hotel I stay in, with most not being able to accommodate - my toilet was all set up and ready for me when I checked in. The room was quiet - I stayed in 459 with a view of the terrace below - I hardly ever heard my neighbors. The sinks back up rather quickly, old pipes and all, but the shower head is ridiculously powerful. In fact, that would be my *only* complaint: the shower head is too high up and stiff for us short people to be able to move it around. I made do, but it was slightly inconvenient.

Walkability: It's surrounded by everything you need. I highly recommend you cross the street for some Sugarfish while you're there

I will never stay at this hotel again. The staff are bias. They called security on me after I was late checking out. 2 credit cards missing and my Tom Ford underwear magically disappeared. I called security and he says I was being combative. What a joke. Keep in mind that I lived at this hotel for 3 years before they changed management and the girl who initially came to my door knew who I was. If you are in BH stay at the Waldorf Astoria not this dump. This is Motel 6 treatment.
